Hello! I’m Anja and I’m 24 years old. I love travelling, adventures and interesting people. I am a very open minded, active and curious person, who likes to learn and try lots of different things. I like to do all sorts of sports such as football, climbing, surfing, yoga, snowboarding and much more. In general, I love to be outside, meet new people and simply enjoy life to the fullest. Always ready for a new adventure!

Currently, I am studying psychology, neuroscience and linguistics at the university of Bern, Switzerland. I have been volunteering for several years for the Youth Red Cross Switzerland, where I cared for senior citizens and organized sports events with and for refugees. Additionally, I teach german to a group of refugees and help them with homework, letters of application, flat-hunting etc.
I used to babysit when I was younger and did an apprenticeship in a nursery, so I have experience in working with children.
One summer, I worked on a farm in the Swiss Alps, where I gained hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture and learned to care for various animals, including cows, goats, pigs, and chickens. I also did a Workaway with a wonderful family near Barcelona, who introduced me to permaculture, carpentry, unschooling, and many valuable life lessons. Another summer, I worked in the kitchen of a beachside restaurant in Italy, which helped me refine my cooking skills and gave me meaningful insight into the fast-paced environment of a professional kitchen. Additionally, I volunteered at a hostel along the Italian pilgrim’s route, where I helped care for guests, prepared meals, and organized a variety of community events.
I speak five languages and I'm always looking for opportunities to improve my communication skills. In general, I am a fast learner and I'm very motivated to learn as many differents things as possible!
