  We are a creative couple living on a 5 acre property with Mountain and Sea views in Taranaki.
  We are 10 minutes away from the Surf Highway and 20 minutes away from New Plymouth.
  Alastair is a paleontologist and Barbora is a musician. We are working toward self sustainability on the land and have a couple of orchards and a garden. We also have two African Grey Parrots and two kittens who are part of the family.

  Alastair is a paleontologist who has found a number of unique fossils that have changed history as we knew it.
  Barbora is a musician who loves a good jam. We are both avid gardeners with a passion for self-sustainability.
  Our property has Native bush, a mountain stream with glow-worms, fruit trees and a 7x9m stage where we occasionally host concerts and events.

  We are always looking for help in the garden and in the orchards. Building help may also be required on a case by case basis as we are expanding the garden and making a winter garden. Neither of us are very good with technology, so we always appreciate a tech wizard.

  Alojamiento

  The upstairs of the house is self contained with two bedrooms, one bathroom and a small kitchenette. Toast and Cereals are available for breakfast, you would be welcome to join us for evening meals.

  Helpers will need to have their own transport. There are plenty of surf beaches in the area, and New Plymouth is a 20 minute drive away. We are in a rural area - there are no public busses here.
