Hi! I'm Adrian, and I'm looking for one independent person to become part of daily life at my off-grid tropical fruit farm on the Costa Tropical of southern Spain.
More than heavy physical work, I'm looking for someone who enjoys helping create a welcoming atmosphere for the guests who occasionally stay on the farm.
If you love cooking, working in the vegetable garden, eating fresh food and living close to nature, this could be a wonderful place for you.
WHAT I NEED HELP WITH
Your main role would be supporting everyday life on the farm:
* Cooking healthy meals with fresh vegetables, fruit and eggs from the farm.
* Looking after the vegetable garden.
* Harvesting fruit and vegetables when needed.
* Keeping the shared kitchen and common areas clean and organised.
* Helping create a relaxed and positive atmosphere.
Sometimes there are also small gardening or maintenance tasks, but the work is generally varied rather than physically demanding.
We usually work in the mornings, between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00–1:00 p.m. , around 3 to 5 hours a day, depending on what needs to be done.
YOUR ACCOMMODATION
You'll have your own beautiful private bedroom, exactly as shown in the photos.
The kitchen and bathroom are shared.
The farm is less than 1 km from the village of Salobreña and only 3 km from the beach.
A bicycle is available, so it's easy to move around without a car.
There is also reliable high-speed internet if you need to work online or stay connected.
THE ATMOSPHERE
Life here is peaceful and surrounded by tropical fruit trees.
Throughout the year, guests visit the farm for tours or stay here while travelling by camper van. This creates a friendly international atmosphere where people from different countries meet, share meals, exchange ideas and learn from each other.
It's a quiet place, but never a lonely one.
WHO I'M LOOKING FOR
I'm looking for someone who:
* Loves cooking with fresh ingredients.
* Enjoys taking care of a vegetable garden.
* Is clean, organised and responsible.
* Can live independently without constant supervision.
* Feels comfortable staying on the farm alone if I need to leave for work.
* Enjoys nature, simple living and community.
Previous farming experience isn't essential.
A positive attitude, initiative and a love of good food are much more important.

Workawayers travelling with their own campervan are welcome. There is space on the land to park and stay in a quiet natural environment surrounded by fruit trees. You will have access to basic shared facilities such as kitchen and bathroom. This is not a campsite, but a simple off-grid space, so we expect a conscious use of water and electricity, and respect for the environment and the project.

Estuve 3 semanas en la granja. El trabajo es muy chill, y muy amplio: recolecta de frutas, agricultura, cocina y trabajo de obras en la casa. Ha sido muy guay ver el progreso en tan poco tiempo. He aprendido muchísimo, y de una forma muy tranquila y paciente, pero a la vez muy productiva.
