We run a fun and social hostel in the heart of Bratislava, capital of Slovakia.
We are looking for staff members for reception, cleaning and entertainment.
Our place is a well balanced backpacker's/party hostel, yet the weight is more on the party side.
We have a team of 8-10 people at a time which is constantly changing so feel free contact us any time. If we are in need of someone at the moment we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We get many applications so when you write first please tell us about yourself and about your motivation to assist us. If you write an essay tho it’s not really fun for us, so keep it simple :)
We prefer staff to stay for at least a month as reception training itself takes a week. Sometimes we can discuss a shorter stay if you are okay with cleaning only or if have any special talent to bring in.
We do not accept couples, neither couples of friends. Those applications will not even be read.
Despite the fact that the work has to be properly done, you will have a great time here and meet a bunch of cool people during your stay, just take a look at our feedback at the bottom. :)
You will get free accommodation and additional hourly wage on monthly basis in case you want to get involved in our business activities.

You can gain experience in many fields, including how to run a hostel, organize events and lead people. You can get many useful and memorable connections from all around the world. You will become part of our small family of brothers and sisters. You can learn about Slovak traditions and practice the language (like ordering beer and Borovička ;)).

We need you to welcome and socialize with our guests, share your thoughts and experiences, bring in your creativity and talents, organize events, parties, trips, dinners, etc.
You will be required to do many different tasks, such as reception work (check in and check out of guests, handling bookings) and housekeeping (changing beds, doing laundry, cleaning the kitchen, rooms, common areas and bathrooms).

We're in a 16th century building in the historical area, right next to the main square. We will give you a bed in a shared dorm room (with other members of the staff).
We will show you the city, the best places to get a beer, to relax, to visit and see.
We are very open minded and of course gay friendly. :)
