50 meters from the Beach, we are inventing new materials and using them to build a model of sustainability on the East Shore of Kauai. We welcome mature people with building skills to help us invent new methods and materials for developing new healthy building practices. We are looking for people who are experienced in construction, yet flexible in application so to help us invent formulas, try various applications of these organic building compounds, and then create finished materials and apply them. We need people who have enough experience that they can question how we should make our mold proof formulas, and then how they should best be applied in a construction process.
We are just 50 meters away from the Pacific Ocean on the east side of the pristine island of Kauai can be your heaven... So, once you have finished helping us experiment with carpentry, coating materials, and other building practices in the morning, you'll likely be out surfing or hiking to waterfalls in the afternoons. In fact, this beach life is so fulfilling, most of our volunteers stay for more than 6 months because they just don't want to leave our beach community.
Our deal? In exchange for 25 hours help from Monday through to Friday, we provide you with healthy food 24/7, accommodation, group use of vehicles, bikes, surf boards, snorkelling gear and much more for you to utilize. The surf is awesome (some nice and glassy double overheads were spotted only a couple of days ago)!
We believe in creating positive change, so our sustainability Center is constructed using sustainable methods and newly invented materials. Thus, we rely on volunteers to invent these materials and complete this project.
We pride ourselves on our healthy lifestyle choices and therefore prohibit the consumption of alcohol, use of drugs, tobacco, marijuana or the participation of any illegal activities. Mostly vegetarian food is served for all the volunteers with no red meat. Please only inquire if you meet these healthy lifestyle habits and wish to contribute to the collective consciousness by helping with this new sustainability center.
As long as you are flexible to do what is needed each day, and have integrity, we have an environment that you will love! We hope you will respect our goals and cherish your time within this incredible opportunity. We have a minimum two month requirement for all volunteers.

Our sustainability project is in need of more dynamic individuals to add to our group of volunteers, but in particular skilled tradespeople who want to help us create new sustainable building practices. So if you have skills like carpenter, plumber, mechanic, electrician, we might be the project for you.
We work from 7:30am to 12:30pm when lunch is served, leaving you with afternoons and weekends free! Some people like to get their hours done early in the week so they have 3 day weekends to explore trails to our surf and waterfalls.

We are located 50 meters from the ocean & your accommodation are either in houses, temporary houses, or even converted buses.
Food is available 24 hours per day including hot meals served.
We are located just opposite a beautiful beach in Kapa'a, which is on the east side of Kaua'i - so excellent for watching sunrise (see image). A short stroll to the main strip of Kapa'a with shops, coffee and endless food trucks! You have full use of all our bikes, surf and snorkel gear, group use of vehicles, & much more.
