In Saint-Genix-sur-Guiers, in the Savoyard Avant-Pays, we live in two Savoyard adobe (earth) farmhouses that we are renovating ourselves. We have created a grouped habitat made up of 4 households:
* Adrien is a kinesiologist and musician (electric guitar and cello, jazz and improvised music, composer) I am a pharmacist, trainer and producer of medicinal plants, We have two boys aged 9 and 5 , not educated.
* Momo is an old-fashioned carpenter (axe rendering) Elodie does earth rendering and lime rendering They have a 3 1/2-year-old granddaughter
* Marc who does participatory wood-frame work and earth-straw filling
* Shadée and her 4-year-old son (no schooling), who live in a yurt
A Saint-Genix-sur-Guiers, dans l'Avant-Pays Savoyard, nous vivons dans deux corps de ferme savoyards en pisé (terre) que nous rénovons nous-même. Nous avons créé un habitat groupé constitué de 4 foyers :
* Adrien est kinésiologue et musicien (guitare électrique et violoncelle, musiques jazz et improvisée, compositeur)
Je suis pharmacienne, formatrice et productrice de plantes médicinales,
Nous avons deux garçons de 9 et 5 ans, non scolarisés.
* Momo est charpentier à l'ancienne (écqurissage à la hâche)
Elodie fait des enduits terre et des enduits à la chaux
Ils ont un petite fille de 3 ans 1/2
* Marc qui fait des chantiers participatifs ossature bois et remplissage terre-paille
* Shadée et son fils de 4 ans (non scolarisé), qui vivent dans une yourte

Life in ecological group housing offers plenty of moments of friendly exchanges, and various and varied discussions. The skills of the different cohabitants are rich and complementary: eco-construction, old-fashioned carpentry, earth and lime plaster, natural treatments with plants, ecology, phytopurification, kinesiology, music, instruction of children as a family ("unschooling" ),... You will therefore be able to:
- learn more about all these subjects
- practice eco-construction with us during collective construction sites
- learn how to recognize wild edible plants, as well as medicinal plants, and how to use them
- learn more about permaculture vegetable gardens, and stop seeing weeds as such
La vie en habitat groupé écologique offre plein de moments d'échanges conviviaux, et de discussions diverses et variées. Les compétences des différents cohabitants sont riches et complémentaires : écoconstruction, charpente à l'ancienne, enduits à la terre et à la chaux, soins naturels avec les plantes, écologie, phytoépuration, kinésiologie, musique, instruction des enfants en famille ("unschooling"),...

- pratiquer avec nous l'éco-construction lors de chantiers collectifs
- apprendre comment reconnaître les plantes sauvages comestibles, ainsi que les plantes médicinales, et comment les utiliser
- en savoir plus sur les potagers en permaculture, et ne plus voir les mauvaises herbes comme telles !

Various and varied activities, according to the seasons and the needs of the moment:
- Construction of structures for the vegetable garden
- Maintenance of paths and hedges

- Gardening / weeding / help in the vegetable garden
- Creative activities, or sports, or various and varied discoveries with the children
- Participation in the various collective projects on the site (repair and insulation of the roof with bales of straw in particular)
- Construction of dry toilets

- Reinforcement/consolidation of the chicken coop and the to enclose - ....!

Alojamiento
You will get some food for breakfast and dinner that you can cook independently in a small wood cottage with a kitchen. And we can share the lunch time together.
On a rejuvenating place with a large hilly plot of 2.5 hectares and lots of trees, you will have at your disposal a small chalet of 20 m2 with a double bed, which also serves as a plant dryer, and a small shed 9m2 with kitchen, shower and dry toilets.
Vous recevrez de la nourriture pour le petit-déjeuner et le dîner que vous pourrez cuisiner de manière indépendante dans un petit chalet en bois avec une cuisine. Et nous pourrons partager ensemble le repas de midi.
Sur un lieu ressourçant avec un grand terrain vallonné de 2,5 hectares et beaucoup d'arbres, vous aurez à votre disposition un petit chalet de 20 m2 avec un lit 2 places, qui sert aussi de séchoir à plantes, et un petit cabanon de 9m2 avec cuisine, douche et toilettes sèches.

We live 5 minutes by car from Lac de Romagnieu, 30 minutes from the superb Lac d'Aiguebelette, and 40 minutes from several hikes in the Chartreuse. We are also on the border with Ain and Isère, walks in Bugey, the Glandieu waterfall, and the Walibi amusement park.
Nous habitons à 5 minutes en voiture du lac de Romagnieu, à 30 minutes du superbe lac d'Aiguebelette, et 40 minutes de plusieurs randonnées en Chartreuse. Nous sommes aussi à la frontière avec l'Ain et l'Isère, les balades dans le Bugey, la cascade de Glandieu, et le parc d'attraction Walibi.
