  We are a family-owned resort, in the beautiful village area of Lampo, Ao Nam Mou, Krabi, in the south of Thailand. The village is situated among nature; you will not have the noise of traffic or loud music from bars and clubs. Instead, you will hear the frogs, crickets, and geckos.
  
  We rent out our houses and rooms to guests, but along side this, we rescue, stray cats and dogs, some of which we have been rehomed and we try to re-home as many as possible, and others are now living at our property full time. All the dogs and cats have been rescued from within Krabi, and we work with an animal welfare charity.
  
  We have lots of cats and 3 dogs and 1 turtle who are permanently living with us.
  
  we rent out 3 houses and 4 rooms, so there will be guests staying with us well.. We have a big garden, with a slackline and outdoor spaces, to relax, do yoga and play with the animals. With the peaceful and serene Lampo area and you can enjoy the calmness of this South Thailand hidden gem.

  The locals, don't speak English, so it's a great way to learn another language and interact with the locals in a Thai Village, learn the culture, customs and language whilst here. we have good knowledge of Thailand and the local areas. We have a good team working for us at the village, The owners are a Thai husband and wife and we have a couple who live on the property who are our cleaning and maintenance team.

  We are looking people who are 30+ who are happy to come and live at our property for 1 month and be around in the day time for our animals, the 3 dogs need to be walked every morning, there are beautiful surrounding's to take the dogs on walks and be surrounded by nature. Our dogs may bark, at passing people or bikes, or when guests arrive at the property, we require the volunteer to be around, to reassure the dogs, and guests, that they are fine, once they enter the property. Both the cats and dogs, love attention and to be played with. The dogs will be tied up or locked behind the fenced in house, at certain times of the day/night, so they can not get out, as they like to jump outside onto the main road.

  The rooms at the Village are situated among nature; you will not have the noise of traffic or loud music from bars and clubs. Instead, you will hear the frogs, crickets, and geckos. In the low season during the wet weather, the frog chorus can be quite loud. We provide you with a private house, it has its own bathroom, hot water shower, a big double bed bedroom and living space, with a patio, and seating outside the front of the house. There is also a full outdoor private kitchen for you to be able to cook your own meals.

  The location is short 20 minute drive away from Krabi town and 10 minute drive to the busy tourist destination of Ao nang beach. It is extremely easy to catch a longtail boat over to Railay or Tonsai from Ao nammao pier or you can walk 20/25 minutes to the main road and catch a public bus to Krabi or Ao nang.
  
  You will need your own transport to get around, hiring a scooter, or bicycles, you are able to use grab taxis from the village as well. In high season, it might be harder to get a taxi short notice.
  
  There is a small ‘mom and pop’ store within walking distance of the house and further up the village and around shell fossil beach are small mini markets . Most of the local delicious Thai food restaurants and stalls are close to the Ao nam mao pier. There are one or two bigger restaurants situated in the condos heading in to Ao nam mao. Of course in Thailand 7/11 and Family mart are never far away.
  
  For animal lovers there is the option to go horse riding with a local stables along the beach or in the jungle and there is also a marine conservation park which makes an interesting visit!
  Ao nam mao beach offers a few small beach fronted bars
  
  On Tonsai beach, you can experience the beautiful limestone cliffs and Tonsai and Railay is world famous for rock climbing.
