Tarah and her family was sooo nice to me. I really enjoyed my time with them. I felt like at home and as part of the family. I really liked play with children, cook for them and walk with the dogs.
I recommend this dynamic family if you want to have a great time in Coromandel area.

To think I just about missed out on the opportunity to meet these two fantastic humans! When they first contacted me we had had quite a few people stay with us recently and didn't really "need" anyone, so I said no. But then when I read their profile it caught my eye that Pete could help with my online shop and website design, so I ended up saying
… read more YES as that was what I really needed in my life! I am so glad I said YES - Pete and Sophie are awesome! We loved every day we got to spend with them, unfortunately it just wasn't long enough! So if you get the opportunity to have these two come and stay with and/or help you, make sure you say YES - you won't regret it! They are super helpful as well as lovely to have around, plus they were awesome with our two kids (ages 8 and 4) and our dogs. Totally miss these two and hope to see them again one day!

Where to start? Probably with: One week was not enough. We don't even know how we could have ever thought that one week would be enough! We're so sad that we didn't have more time. Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed sharing your life with you and being immediately welcomed into your family with such openness.

… read more on getting the websites up and running and I got to experience my dream of working in a doggy day care which I will never forget and has taught me so much.
But next to working with the dogs, making dog leads and collars and helping out in the house, we cannot thank you enough for taking so much time out of your busy days to show us your beautiful part of New Zealand. We truly appreciated every single day we got to spend together and it was so lucky that it was the school holidays and we could go on adventures with the kids!
We had the best time and highly recommend this workaway to every volunteer! We cannot wait to see where life takes you next and hope to see you all again next year!

Symeon and I enjoyed our stay so much with the family !
Tarah was always happy to recommend activities and make sure we enjoy a sunny day outside rather than staying at home working. We've had very generous and delicious meals, lovely time with the pets and the kids and felt like we were part of the family.
We also ended having lovely nicknames
