Availability starting immediately for our farm-stay/Cultural exchange.
We have an 11 acre lifestyle block just outside of Matakana which is a popular tourist destination about an hour north of Auckland. We are close to many picturesque beaches and regional parks.
We are looking for a single female or a couple to join our family and help out with a mix of household chores, farm jobs, weeding, planting and community projects.
Hours per day is 4-5hours depending on jobs and what projects needs to be done.
We are slowly setting the property set up as a permaculture edible food system, lots of planting and weeding involved.
We have two young children (11 and 13) they are active and fun, they love reading, playing and learning about new things.

We love hosting people who are interested in enjoying working and socializing with our family. After work is done there is time to learn and share. Some people want extra money, so we have had people working part time while staying with us.

Time off can be spent at the beach, bush or exploring to the local community. Our property is 5minutes to Matakana Village and 2 minutes to the closest beach, the area is great for travelers with many beaches and things to do on time off. Also those who want can seek paid work around the community on their time off.
