If you appreciate simplicity, a quiet lifestyle, and the charm of a peaceful Thai town, we would love to welcome you to Kamphaeng Phet.
Our home is nestled in a historic area, close to stunning ancient sites and unique temples. We are perfectly located for weekend trips to Sukhothai, Tak, or Chiang Mai, and about a 5-hour scenic journey from Bangkok.
We are looking for heart-centered volunteers who:
• Truly enjoy children: You find joy in their curiosity and energy (Ages 5–13).
• Are Patient & Positive: You bring a calm, encouraging presence to the classroom.
• Are Creatively Minded: You love art, crafts, and finding fun ways to teach English speaking.
• Are Team Players: You enjoy collaborating in a supportive, family-like atmosphere.
Our Learning Creative Space
Our lessons are intimate and focused, allowing you to build real connections:
• Private 1-on-1 sessions for personalized learning.
• Small group classes (typically 5–7 students) for interactive fun.
• Schedule: 5 days a week with 2 full days off to explore and relax!

Your Weekly Schedule
We value your time and want you to enjoy your stay in Thailand as much as we enjoy having you!
• Teaching Commitment: Approximately 3–4 hours per day, depending on the daily activities.
• Teaching Days: 5 days a week.
• Rest Days: 2 full days off per week to explore the local culture, visit nearby sights, or just relax.
This flexible schedule gives you plenty of time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Kamphaeng Phet, cycle to the historical park, or relax at a local cafe!

Home & Amenities
We want you to feel right at home! To make your stay comfortable, we provide:
• Private Bedroom: Your own personal space to rest and recharge.
• Nutritious Meals: 2 home-cooked meals a day. Our kitchen is stocked with fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs, chicken, pork, rice, bread, and coffee.
• Kitchen Access: You are more than welcome to use the kitchen to cook your favorite dishes!
• High-Speed WiFi: Available throughout the house to keep you connected.
• Laundry: We have a washing machine available for your use (we kindly ask that you bring your own laundry detergent).
Bathroom & Personal Items
• We use a shared bathroom maintained with love and care.
• To suit your personal skin and hair care preferences, please bring your own soap and shampoo.
Staying Cool & Comfortable
Thailand in May is beautiful but warm! We ensure a cool environment while being mindful of our energy:
• In your room: The electric fan is available. The AC is available from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM to cool the room perfectly for your sleep.
• In the classroom: The AC will be on during all teaching sessions for everyone's comfort
A Note from the Host: Our home runs on mutual trust and a "family-style" atmosphere. Your cooperation with these small details helps us keep this project alive and thriving for the children.

Living together like a family is wonderful! To keep our home clean, cozy, and full of smiles, we have a few simple requests:
• Stay Cool & Mindful: To help us stay eco-friendly, the bedroom Air Conditioning is available from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM. This keeps the room perfectly chilled for a good night's sleep! (And remember, your fan is available to keep you breezy!)
• Kitchen Love: We love it when you cook! After preparing your delicious meals, please kindly mop the kitchen floor. It helps keep our cooking space fresh and sparkling for the next chef.
• Tidy Spaces: We share our common areas with love. Please help us keep the dining room, bathroom, and toilet tidy after use—it makes everyone’s day a little brighter!
• Fresh Air: To keep our home smelling sweet and avoid any uninvited "tiny guests," please take out the trash every evening.

Internet Connection in My House: My house has a stable Wi-Fi connection, which is available throughout the home. It’s fast enough for browsing, streaming, and online work. However, since I live in a small town, the speed may fluctuate at times. It was an amazing experience.
Siri is a wonderful person and she really cares about showing her city.
She took us to discover temples that weren’t even on Google Maps, let us try pad thai in a real local restaurant and some delicious sweets, and she’s always ready to help.

The time I spend with Siri and the children was such a great experience! The children are so nice and respectful and Siri is a very kind woman. Sometimes a bit chaotic, but she makes sure you won't go hungry and takes you to places in her free time! I really enjoyed my time at Siri's place and would absolutely recommend it!

I stayed with Siri for about two weeks together with a friend.
Our stay was very good, we taught English and did paint work for some hours a day.
In our free time we visited the beautiful city of Kamphaeng Phet or just stayed home in a comfortable room.
We both felt very welcomed and I would recommend such an experience to everyone.
