  I am Tita, 59 years old and have been living the last 16 years working on myself sustainability in the ethics of permaculture and Love.
  
  My main job now is taking care of 2 routes in my region, as a route manager, but I´m also a yoga teacher, massage, and reiki therapist, weaver, gardener and nature career.

  An update for the month of November 2025:
  
  We will be moving our looms to a new spot and we'll need help in different fases:
  - Preparation of the new room > This is a very old school, with wooden floor and needs to be treated to eliminate woodworm and possibly varnished.
  
  Dismantle each of the looms, number the parts, treat the wood, and take them to the new location.
  
  Assemble the looms.
  
  Organise the new room.
  
  We will very much appreciate the help!

  I need help for 2 different projects:
  
  * Helping to clean and maintain some paths in our mountains. - This project I need urgent help in March and April!
  
  This task involves walking around 5 to 12 kms in a day, in mountainous terrain, with the aim of collecting rubbish and cutting back any vegetation that might be blocking the way.
  The walks will take place on different days and will give you the opportunity to get to know part of our beautiful Geres National Park.
  
  * Weaving project
  
  The weaving project is a projects of the association Mater Minho of which I am a member, in Arcos de Valdevez.
  
  This project is opened for the local community to recover and develop the handcrafts tradition in this area, like natural wool dying, spinning, weaving, bordering, basketry and others.
  
  We're hoping to move to a new location soon and then it will be fantastic to have extra help to reorganise the new location.
  We are now (aug25) starting another project that we are learning and developing to transforme local wool, from whashing, spinning, natural dying, so we can use it for weaving.
  
  This is a very beautiful region and we are sure you will love it ;)

  I won't always be able to offer work for volunteering, but there's always the possibility of spending a few days here in a fair exchange, like giving a donation to cover expenses.
  I'd be delighted to welcome you as a volunteer or guest
  
  If I receive you as a guest, what I can offer at the moment beside the weaving training and material you can use to weave something for your self. I can provide accommodation in a private room and we can share food but I would ask for you to contribute financially to cover expenses. (conscience donation)

  Nearby you can swim in the river and walk in the ecovia or in the mountains
