Descripción
I live and work on Waiheke Island, New Zealand. Only 35 minutes from Auckland, NZ's biggest city. Waiheke has many lovely beaches, wineries and cafes. I live with my son Nico and dog Roxy. We need voluntary help with organic gardening , house cleaning, small building projects and house painting. I do not need help in my business.

I had a really lovely stay with Pete. He’s such a kind and welcoming person and I immediately felt at home. His dog Roxy is the sweetest and made my time there even nicer. I helped with some work in the garden and really enjoyed it.

It was great to host Flavio for a week. He worked hard in the garden getting rid of invasive weeds. We had a lot of laughs and he is a fun loving person who is interested in everything that life has to offer, even squid fishing in which he caught one on his first try. He made a training programme for me and was very respectful and tidy. nice guy!

I shared 1 week with Pete and Roxy. I helped there doing some control of the invasive plants in the bush and some work around the house. I enjoy a lot the stay, having good conversations at the dinner time, sharing culture, experiences, good food that Pete cooks and a lot of fun. I wanted to stay just for a few weeks at first but then I enjoyed three wonderful months at Peters beautiful place.

We absolutely loved our stay with Pete and Roxy! He made us feel so welcome and we had so much fun. We enjoyed many delicious home cooked meals, wine and lots of laughs. Pete was the most fantastic host! We had the best time staying with him, Nico and Roxy. Beautiful house, amazing home cooked meals with veggies from his sweet sweet soil. Felt really at home in Waiheke due to Pete's hospitality. Pete and his mum are angels and we will be back to visit soon. Thanks for everything, you're a diamond!
