Wahouuu!!! I don't know what to say^^ my stay at Mel and Xav's family was perfect! You really feel like a member of the familly. They are really nice and welcoming! Their children are cute and even if they are a little bit shy in the beginning, they will love you and you will love them really fast 😄

The place where they live is nice. You could see some wallabies, and their animals are sooo cute. Little thought for Peanut and pickle ❤️🐶🐷
Unfortunatly, my visa was too short to stay longer but I will come back to Brisbane if I come back to Australia one day for sur 😉
So, to sum up, if you like children and animals, don't hesitate to do a workaway here, you will have no regret!

My time with this family was really great! I would give them more than five stars if I could. I felt so included and had fantastic discussions with them. It was also so great to spend Easter with them and see how is it here in Australia. Before I stayed with them I had been travelling around so much that it was such a blessing to stay at their
… read more farm. Their all three boys were supernice company and I had so much fun when I was hanging with them! I had my own room where I could rest when ever I wanted to.
They are so relaxed in every ways. I got to choose what task I wanted to do and when I liked to do. Melissa also makes so tasty food, that you will not want to leave.

Having Elisa around our home was really lovely. As a mother of three energetic boys, finding someone capable of managing their energy and ensuring their safety is top priority. … read more connection with each of our sons. Additionally, her ability to speak good English made it easy for us to communicate and understand each other.
In addition to her excellent childcare skills, Elisa's dedication to cleaning our home was outstanding. She approached every task with careful attention to detail, leaving no corner untouched. Whether it was scrubbing walls, ceilings, bathrooms, or tending to the floors and patio, her dedication to cleanliness was evident in every aspect of her work, extending even to our garden.
One of the highlights of having Elisa with us was undoubtedly her Finnish cooking skills, her salmon soup, baked salmon, and those delicious buns were divine - although I'm still unsure of their name.
Beyond her practical skills, what truly set Elisa apart was her genuine kindness and caring nature. We shared stories about growing up in Australia and she also shared many stories about the culture and way of life in Finland.
Elisa's kindness and warmth made her a cherished part of our family. If you're in search of someone polite, caring, and competent, Elisa is the perfect choice. We wish her all the happiness and success for her future.

I had an amazing time in this cute and lovely family. Ti is such a cheeky and funny child - it's impossible not to love him! Mel and Xav are heart warming people and I felt very welcome - like home. These 6 weeks in a real Aussie family with their own little farm was one of my best experiences in Australia.
