We are Helene & Hans, a Dutch couple living in Sweden for more than 8 years now. We live in a traditional Swedish wooden house with outbuildings nearby a lake in a little village called Skillingsfors. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who will helps us mainly with general maintenance (DIY) of our property.

We love to cook! Besides the cooking we are interested in a lot of things. We call ourselves allrounders!
It is always nice to meet people and learn from eachother.
Sorry but we are not vegetarians ! So we will provide our workawayers with good, honest, biological meals, but not vegetarian.
Ayuda
The main task consists of general maintenance of our familiy home and out buildings: think renovating, painting buildings, cutting wood, cutting grass, weeding, picking berries, apples etc.
Besides the general maintenance we can use help in our Bed & Breakfast. We have two cottages which we rent out: think cleaning and changing bedding.
Furthermore we have a big garden that needs to be taken care of. So cutting grass, weeding, picking berries, apples, etc. need to be done.

Your accomodation will be a small but convenient cottage with two bedrooms and a livingroom close to the main house. Your bathroom is located in the annex of the main house. willing to share the accomodation with another workawayer.

Skillingsfors has stunning nature and is a peaceful and quiet place. The view of the lake is beautiful and beside perfect for outdoor activities, like swimming, fishing or canoeing.
We have a canadian canoe or two kayaks (depends on if we have guests or not) you can use in your free time
This place is perfect for people who like nice and quiet.
We have public transport but it is just twice a day
Sorry but we are not vegetarians ! So we will provide our workawayers with good, honest, biological meals, but not vegetarian.

They are very welcoming hosts, always kinds and gentle to us. They were happy to share with us the Swedish meals and culture (we miss Helene's muffins and Hans' meals !).
