Hi! I'm Stefan. My wife Julia and I traveled the world for 7 years until we found this charming old villa overlooking the sea in Argeles-Sur-Mer and started a family. Baby Alicia was born in July 2024. It is very quiet here. We are surrounded by several hectars of forest and have only few neighbours. Nonetheless, it's only 10 minutes (by car) to the next town and the beach.
The villa has 3 main bedrooms, extremely spacious living areas, multiple terraces and a big swimming pool. It is fully renovated, except for some small details. At this point we need help with the garden! It needs to be cleaned out, new plants planted, the irrigation system extended and we would like to create a walking path through the forest and potentially create a sitting area. But first things first!
We are able to host during winter, but are less than 50% of the time at the house ourselves. Workawayers staying over the winter months therefore need to be reliable, respectful and tidy. Also, we will only host people with strong gardening or carpentry experiences.
The minimum stay is two weeks.

We are very active people. We'd be happy to explore the nature around us together or can do some yoga in the morning.

We are very interested in improving our French.
Alojamiento
We have 3 main bedrooms inside the house plus one room with a sofa-bed. In a clearing in our forest stands a caravan with toilet and shower, 2 minutes away from the house. We provide enough food. We eat mostly vegetarian, but also like fish. We usually share at least one meal together per day and take turns when it comes to cooking.
The town is 10 min away from our house but we have bought a scooter (125cc) which everyone can use who knows how to drive it and has the necessary driving license.

For your time off, you have plenty of options. You can decide to stay home, relax at the pool, enjoy the view, listen to the birds, read a book .... or you can go down into the town mingle with the locals, lay at one of the several beaches, do watersports, go cycling, horseriding or do some sightseeing in and around Perpignan.
Currently, there is no public transport from the house to the town yet and it is a 30 minutes walk. We can take you sometimes.

We've been digital nomads ourselves for so long, we gladly accept other likeminded souls. However, we only take people who do not have a lot of digital work. During the summer months the internet connection slows down.

Lucy, Simon and the kids are wonderful people who stayed at our place for about 2 weeks. Unfortunately, we did not meet in person, but had several video calls. They did great work, we especially appreciate the new doors! We can only recommend hosting them and are hoping to meet them on their way back to England.

The best experience I could've asked for! I stayed for 4 weeks and had an incredible time, Stefan and Julia are so welcoming and make it feel like home. The area and views are amazing, it's worth exploring and seeing the area. would definitely recommend if you're lucky enough to go!
