  Hello there!
  
  We are Ritah (40)and Eelco (58) .
  Ritah is an African from Uganda and Eelco is a Dutch national together we are leaving in Alicante, Spain. We are a family of 3 with a 3 years toddler.
  
  After spending a decade in the UAE, we decided to come back and settle for the Mediterranean climate to enjoy the beautiful climate, beautiful people and good food and a kind of a slow living.
  
  Ritah is a house wife now but before worked in a hospitality. During my free time I would love to get creative at things like painting, knitting, going for walks and exercising. Eelco works in supply chain and logistics, during his free time he loves reading, writing and also a football fan. We both love gardening.
  
  We love traveling and interacting with different people and cultures. Which helps us to understand that ''everyone is different'' and ''everyone is unique'' in their own way.
  We have a good sized garden of old almonds, pomegranate and olive trees. We also keep a small chicken farm at the moment we downsized "give aways"as it was getting bigger in numbers so we diecied to stay with only 3 hens for egg production free range chickens.
  
  We look forward to learning about your perspectives as we enjoy good conversations over family meals and also building new friendships.

  Elche is located in province of Alicante. It's a beautiful city full of rich history and known for the palmeral de elche a UNESCO World Heritage site,the only palm grove in Europe .
  It's famous for the foot wear industry in Spain.
  There are stunning beautiful beaches, Mediterranean food, mountain bike trails, hiking trails, cycling, wind surfing and so many activities.Thus a great destination for a visit.
  2.5 hrs fast train to Madrid.

  Ayuda

  We are welcoming and inviting someone who is warm, family friendly, calm, flexible and preferably a non smoker.
  Currently we are looking for someone is who is ready and willing to offer help at home this includes, housekeeping, gardening, grocery shopping, cleaning the house, loves cooking to name but a few.
  And also happy and comfortable to be in the same space with a toddler.
  
  NOTE: We are not looking for an aupair or a child minder.
  
  Ritah does all there's for our toddler. The host/workwayer is to help with other house chores and gardening activities on the farm.
  As a housewife i love doing all the above activities around the house but it's only sometimes it all piles up and it creates sets back on work but otherwise it is a relaxed home, we are not a demanding family.
  
  We are in plan of creating an ecological garden with variety of vegetables and herbs, preparation of the land is already done.
  We need to install the irrigation system and also choose on what vegetables to start with.
  We have an old house with 10 hectares of land. On that farm we have olive trees, pomegranate trees, lemon trees, and plum trees. ( At the moment eelco is spending all the time on this farm pruning and so far his pruned trees but it would great if he gets company/ someone to do it with him)
  
  And the rest of the land has on it dead almond trees which we are planning to clear off and prepare the land to plant young olive trees. We plan to do this around mid March to April.
  
  As now we have the old house which is Castalla is partially renovated with most of the general neccesities are functioning, like bedroom, bathroom and toilet, living area, wifi, water and electricity (off grid) in general it is an eco friendly farm house.
  Meaning we spend most of the day here at the farm and we plan to use it more spring and summer times.
  But still has more work to be done on the renovation part of the big house. And those plans are underway probably resuming in the middle of this year.
  It a beautiful and really quiet place has it own gem, good for nature lovers, cycling, walking and literally just relaxing.

  As foreigners in Spain, Ritah is trying to do a self study with Spanish. My husband's Spanish is fairly okay.So leaving in a countryside we don't regularly interact with people to practice or improve our Spanish. So having or hosting a workwayer who's interested in learning Spanish would be great company as we could help each other with daily conversations in Spanish (we've got Spanish verbs books etc). For whoever is interested in learning an African dialect from Uganda (Luganda) please be my guest :) Eelco speaks fluent Dutch and German (although his quite busy with his work at the moment)..but whatever works for you could work for us...who knows :)

  Alojamiento

  We offer a very nice one bedroom including all the bed linen. The bedroom is part of the main house and a good bathroom sometimes not shared with.
  We also offer self service breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  We are a couple who enjoy the comfort of our home, so we make and prepare our meals and as well eat together. It would be great to have a someone who loves cooking too and ready to share their new recipes we are food lovers.

  An outgoing and adventurist workwayer will be happy to live here.
  During summer you can ride the nearest beach with a bicycle.
  We can offer one of our bicycles incase he/she wants to go cycling or loves to cycling. There are buses that take you to the city, a 10 mins walk to the bus stop from our house. And its a 20 mins drive on bus to Elche city where you can quickly catch another bus to Alicante.
  We are careful people and would prefer to be considerate when in use of our home stuff!
  We can also offer drop off or pick up if need be. Although Alicante / Elche has a good public transport system.

  We have a spacious garden where you can park. But we don't have a sewage dumping system, it's upon the caravan owner's responsibility to look for a station for emptying their sewage tanks.
