Share my haven of peace in the national park 40 kms from Le Mans and share my workload on this massive old but not quite finished renovation of a run down farm with lots of work - garden/animals/renovation

I am originally british so speak fluent english and have lived & worked here for almost 18 years so not bad in french & I can order beer in spanish! I live a simple but packed life- I work, have animals, a part time business making artisanal soy candles and a gite on site. I am taming the wilderness to create a pleasant garden which is hospitable for guests in the gite and the local bird/ wildlife, I have a raised veggie plot & greenhouse, no chemical treatments. Look forward to meeting positive, dynamic & interesting people who want to enjoy the peace and quiet of country life and a good conversation over a glass of wine or dinner.

Lots of unskilled work as this is a large property - maintenance, general gardening/weeding, veggie plot, grass cutting, animals, firewood.
Small projects for people with knowledge & skills in roofing, heating, laying footpaths, sustainability, renovation & creative projects.

Alojamiento
Small double room in the house on the first floor with shared bathroom/wc and shared shower room/wc for 1 person or a couple. Meals provided, cooking (& washing up) shared to enable discovery of cultural flavours.
2nd double bed available in my craftroom if travelling as buddies (door is a curtain which doesn't stop any of the 4 cats coming for a snuggle!)
can also accomodate independent travellers with campervan or similar, connection to electricity & access to shared shower room in the house. Meals provided on days worked & evening meals together(shared cooking?), the rest of the time you provide your own.1 week of accomodation for 20 hours of work - days & times flexible.

In the national park, very pretty,very relaxing, very agricultural & very hilly. Public transport is practically non existent, train station 10kms away with trains to Laval & Le Mans with connections to Paris and other destinations, can possibly make 2 bikes available for use during your stay. Many walking/ cycling routes here, 500m from the GR36. Near beautiful forest & man made lake, kayaking, horseriding, tree top adventures. 40 kms from Le Mans with its world famous circuit & old town. Zoo de La Fleche, chateaux de la Loire and many other attractions accessible by car.

Malcolm quickly saw where his skills could be used most efficiently, he worked both independently and with me and produced results that fit in with my style.
