This is a non-profit organization that promotes environmental conservation through sustainable tourism in Ecuador's Amazon jungle, particularly Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve.
The team consists of 5 people, 3 local Ecuadoreans: Neiser, Luis, and Arnold and 2 international liasons, Jan from the Czech Republic and Shannon from Canada. Neiser and Luis have both been Naturalists Guides in a local Wildlife Reserve for more than 15 years, so this organization has been developed out of their experience working in the Amazon jungle and their passion to protect the environment they live and work in. Arnold is the secretary and Communications Director, who manages social media, communications. Jan and Shannon are involved in research and connecting international tourists with work in environmental conservation. All of the members work here in a volunteer capacity and are not paid a salary.
Volunteers will be staying in Lago Agrio in the Puerto Aguarico region and will be volunteering in Lago Agrio helping in the tourism office at Wildranger Adventure. When there are tours at the Lodge in the Wildlife Reserve and to nearby waterfalls, volunteers will take photos and videos to promote sustainable tourism on social media.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

Volunteers will learn about wildlife and nature conservation projects in the Ecuadorean Amazon. They will also have the chance to learn about local indigenous people and culture and work with local people on nature conservation projects. In addition, volunteers will learn about local Ecuadorean cuisine, culture, language and participate in recreation activities.
They will encounter tourists from all over the world who travel to the Ecuadoren Amazon.Ayuda
We ask that volunteers stay for a minimum of one month. This will allow for a more meaningful experience for both the volunteer and the program.
Volunteers would be expected to participate in approximately 4-5 hours of volunteer programming per day from Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours, they will have opportunity to participate in local cultural and/or touristic activities of their choice.
Sample Volunteer Itinerary:
8am- Ecuadorean Breakfast (provided)
9am-5pm. Volunteer activities and optional excursions. Volunteers will be expected to help on projects for 4-5 hours/day during this time.
Volunteers will assist with administrative work related to environmental conservation and sustainable tourism in the office of Wild Ranger tours. They will also take photos and videos of excursions to local waterfalls, conservation areas and if they attend an Amazon Jungle tour to share on social media.

The members of our team are fluent in Spanish and English. Luis has been learning German and Shannon speaks French. Many of the local people who we work with in Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve are uni-lingual Spanish speakers. They are interested in learning English, French and German to communicate with the tourists who visit them in the Amazon jungle.Alojamiento
Volunteers will be provided with shared accommodation in Lago Agrio, Ecuador at a hostel connected to the the organisation's office. There may be international tourists staying at this hostel as they await a tour in the Amazon jungle.
We will provide volunteers with local transportation to daily activities in the community, such as Ecuadorean cooking, visits to local indigenous communities, local hikes, and visits to local parks and tourist attractions. Some activities may require an addition entry fee, but could be organized if volunteers are interested.
We can also help connect volunteers with transportation options to and from Quito, such as local bus, tourist bus, private car and airport transit. We arrange to pick up volunteers upon their arrival in Lago Agrio.Algo más...
Options for local activities will be arranged through the office based on the volunteer’s interest so that you can learn more about Ecuadorean and Amazonian culture.
Volunteers will be given the weekends off to participate in excursions to nearby communities and/ or touristic sites. Examples might include visits to Parque Ecológico Recreativo Lago Agrio (PERLA), Casa de Cultura, hiking in Reserva Ecológico Cayambe Coca, visits to Cascada San Rafael, or activities on the Napo River.
Volunteers may wish to participate in a 4 or 5 day Amazon Jungle Tour in Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. Budget jungle tours with high quality Naturalist guides at jungle lodged in Cuyabeno Reserve can be arranged through us also.Un poco más de información

We can host bloggers and other digital nomads with good WiFi connection in Lago Agrio. However, volunteers may occasionally have the opportunity to be involved in projects in Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve, or participate in optional excursions to the Amazon jungle. There is limited WiFi or cellular service in most places in the jungle. Volunteers would need to be prepared to be without service for a minimum of 4 days if they are in the Amazon jungle. Most of the volunteer work will be in and around Lago Agrio. However, we are working with Canangueno Lodge to host volunteers while there are Amazon Jungle tours running there. Volunteers who stay at the office in Lago Agrio would have access to good WiFi and cellular service.
