We (Georgie and Nigel) both work full time and have three children who are 11, 9 and 7. Nige is a self employed contractor and Georgie is a Nursing lecturer. Most afternoons we spend ferry our children to various sports activities. We would love some general help on the farm, in the garden, painting and in the house.

We live on a farm with cows, calves, sheep. pigs, dogs and three children! We are 10 minutes from Carterton, in the gorgeous rural Gladstone district. Nearby we have vineyards and our local country pub. We have had several travelers stay with us before and we love (especially the kids) what we learn from them! Likewise we love to share our culture and experiences with you!

We would love help with general maintenance on our small farm. We are also would love help with cleaning, painting and gardening. Occasionally some childcare could also be useful!

Accommodation is a large double bedroom with your bathroom. We will provide all meals and cook for you unless of course you love cooking and would like to share your cultural specialty!

With your time off you could head into the hills bush walking, take off to the beaches (an hour away), visit the vineyards, visits cafes and shop in Martinborough or Greytown or just stay home and chill. Ideally you would have your own car.

We had a great week with Georgie, Nigel and the kids, We helped during the week with different works and also on different places. So it was every day an interesting work to do. Melanie and Silvan were fantastic to host! They were so great with the kids and incredibly helpful. They made us some gorgeous Swiss meals while they were here and we learnt lots about Switzerland. They were very obliging to any work we suggested. The whole family loved having them to stay!

We had a great week with Ronja! She was keen to do what ever help we wanted. She was also fantastic with our kids! One night she make a fire and cooked german camp bread with them. She also gave them a few guitar lessons! She was great to have around

They are a very friendly and helpful family with great kids. I really enjoyed the time there. The work was good and Eve the oldesr daughter helped me sometimes. Thanks for that! It was a great time with you. I wish you all the best and hopefully we see us again anytime. Maybe in germany :)
