I stayed with Julie, Murray and their beautiful family of dogs for two weeks as my first workaway experience. Julie and Murray are very friendly and hospitable hosts making me feel welcome in their lovely home in a very picturesque part of France. I loved being around so many awesome dogs who were easy to bond with. It was good to help out at home

Julie and Murray received me very well... I worked for one week at their small farm located close to Lisieux in a very beautiful place. They have nice dogs including a puppy one! Everyday they prepare nice foods and deserts! I ate very well there... During this week I did some gardening, cleaning and wood carrying. Thanks a lot for everything! :)

Thank you for hosting us! It was a great first experience. They treated us as a friends. Visited beautiful places such as Honfleur and Etretat. We also had an opportunity to go and see Le Tour de France in Livarot. They gave us a beautiful room with separate bathroom. The tasks were different and we liked that. More than that we loved their dogs

Of course, fooooood, always full fridge with different kind of products, loved small deserts and we had delicious dinner every day,which also inspired our kitchen in Latvia as well. La musique! Murray has a-w-e-s-o-m-e playlist, which we listened to in a car and enjoyed listening to his collection of CD's at home while working. Our stay with Julie and Murray was fantastic. They are such wonderful, warm, friendly people.
It was so much fun playing with the dogs and the cats:) The gardening work was fair and we did everything they asked us to do with joy. They took us around Normandi which is a beautiful region.

We spent a really NICE 2 weeks in Normandy. We had two beautiful rooms with a nice view and bathroom for ourselves.
Murray and Julie were great hosts, they even took us for a trip to a beautiful town next to the sea. Julie's meals were really delicious.
We loved their dogs and their cats, they were also very friendly.

… read more day sometimes less, sometimes more. Sometimes work was easy, like cleaning an appartment, sometimes a little bit harder. Anyway, we spent nice time with them and really loved Normandy.
It's worth to visit them and we have to mention that there is one more special thing in Normandy - the best cider ever, thank you again, Murray, we'll never forget pink cider.

Julie and Murray were really nice hosts and I had a lot of fun with them. Both welcomed me very friendly and I had a good time during the six weeks at their house.
There was a lot of working in their shop in this period, so I worked sometimes a little bit more. But in return, they were driving me to lots of places and also gave me money for the
… read more time I was working more. So it was no problem.
In the six weeks Julie and Murray showed me a lot of places in France, but I also had the chance to go with Julie for 3 days to England. During my stay with Julie and Murray, I met a lot of their friends and also Julie’s brother and his family who were all really nice and we had a good time together.
Julie and Murray have six dogs and two cats which were so sweet, cuddly and playful. I like their pets very much and I will miss them all.
Julie was a really good cooker, also when she said that she hates cooking. The food was always very delicious!
Thank you really much for the nice time at your house! It was a pleasure to meet you, your dogs and all your friends!

Julie and Murray were such wonderful hosts! Yenny and I had a marvelous week with them. They also made sure to show us the sights and let us enjoy the area--it's absolutely beautiful there and we are both so grateful for the scenic car rides and delightful excursions. We also loved playing with their gaggle of friendly dogs, who were just as welcoming and kind as our hosts. We both wished we could have stayed much longer. Thank you so much to you both! We had an absolutely splendid time with you.
