Dear beautiful people!
We’ve been so fortunate to inherit this beautiful former community house in the heart of Småland from our parents. Now my brother and I are working to make it our own, renovating, painting, repairing and decorating the place in a more timeless northern style - minimalist but hygge :)
Looking forward to meet reliable people who enjoy working with their hands and being in nature. In your free time you can explore the gorgeous Swedish countryside, go for hikes, rent a kayak, hunt for mushrooms and berries, use our ping pong table and the sauna, make a campfire or just chill at a lake or in a hammock in our garden. It’s a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the mystical Swedish landscape. -

I am from Germany, speak German and English fluently, French, Spanish brokenly :D and am trying to learn Swedish. So if you’re interested in any of those languages as an exchange, let’s learn from each other :)
I am a yoga teacher and happy to share my knowledge about yoga and guide yoga sessions.
Also we have an extended library with German and English books ranging from different political, social to spiritual topics and you’re very welcome to read em all!!!

I need help wallpapering, dragging the stairs and wooden veneers inside the house and painting the walls, stairs and veneers. Sometimes some other handicraft tasks. In the garden I need help with mowing the lawn, cutting back trees and bushes. Also, in case I thrift some bigger furniture, I would need help picking it up and bringing it back home.
If you bring some knowledge or experience in manual crafts, that’s awesome, but if you are just someone who works well and with attention to detail that’s perfect as well, because most of the work doesn’t require any or much experience. There are some smaller different tasks, that we can decide to take on or not, depending on our shared skills and time schedule, like replacing our old sink in the kitchen, applying new lamps in the house, attach a dishwasher to the kitchen… there’s plenty of things to do. We will be working mostly together or split tasks in a way that everyone feels comfortable :) -

You will have your own separate room. It’s a beautiful and big room with a wooden floor, big windows to the south and the east and three separate beds. It really is nice, spacious and has lots of natural light. See photos :) You can get bedding and towels from me. We have a washing machine, living-room, kitchen, bathroom with hot water, a sauna and a big hall for ping pong, yoga etc. We will share the rest of the house and garden.
I will provide tasty, healthy and rich vegan meals, coffee, tea and snacks. Gluten-free is also no problem (let me know).
My house is meat-free. If you want vegetarian extras I would kindly ask you to get them yourself. Thank you!

Our house is in the countryside. The next city and supermarket can only be reached by car. So I can pick you up from the train station and also go with you or drive you to the lake on the weekends or I could also borrow you my car if I don’t need it that day, but if you want to be fully independent it would be best if you came with your own.
If you come with your own car there are plenty of day trips that you can go on in Småland.
The next lakes are about 20 to 30 mins by foot.
As mentioned, my house is meat- free and the food I provide will be very tasty, but vegan. Please only come if that’s something you’re into. :) -

Hi! I unfortunately have no Wifi in the house (yet). It`s usually not very expensive to get a swedish simcard and a lot of mobile data in the supermarket - that`s how I do it myself.
