First I started workaway to welcome and help travelers to find a safe space during their travels. I also want my family to spend some time with volunteers and to feel that our home is full of life, and useful to others. Nothing makes my parents more happy than helping and sharing love. So we are looking for flexible people, that will make themselves available for the family. You will also have your free time of course!
Besides, our first project is to build a vegetable garden on the property.
We have no experience ourselves, so we would like to have someone with experience for:
- building a fence for the chickens
- convert the space into workable soil
- planting, watering, weeding
We are very flexible and don't have and precise timeline so far. We just want to learn with you as we go, and things will get clearer with time. We will provide everything for you to work.
We might also need help around the house here and there, help my mother cooking, feeding the chicken, nothing to complicated! We can adapt to what you know and enjoy doing.
Finally, we are expecting our volunteers to be positive, caring and responsible people, with a strong attention to detail. And we want to learn as well, bring your ideas!Idiomas hablados
Inglés: Fluido
Indonesian: FluidoAlojamiento
You will get your own private comfy room, with a double bed and a fan.
You are also very welcome to use our shared kitchen, bathroom and common area and wifi.
We can provide coffee and tea for you breakfast. But as the food is so easy to get and cheap in Jogja, we would ask you to provide for you own meals.Algo más...
We are a muslim family and we don't expect to be guests in our own house but this is a very free environment. We will do everything to make you feel at home. Everybody is welcome here! We just need you to be respectful of our lifestyle
We might have very different ways from your home country, and it is ok to not to know everything. In fact, it is a great opportunity for us to confront our ideas and learn from each other :)Un poco más de información
