Descripción
A green oasis, ancient, spacious, preserved place, inside a small city which is in fast development.
We are looking for one to two volunteers who would like to take care of the house. In exchange you need to do some gardening, pool cleaning, maintenance of the property, including house cleaning, some woodwork, decoration, etc. under agreement with the hosts.
Hygiene is very important, especially because of the situation in which we are all globally.
The use of chemical products is not allowed to use, as our plants drink the "waste"-water!
This means also that soap, toothpaste, the shampoo you bring needs to be biodegradable. And the containers need to be recyclable or taken with you when empty.
Important: no alcohol consumption or other drugs, non-smoker only, no partying.
We offer a minimal-waste and plant-based holistic space, where animals, humans and nature are treated fairly with equal values. For nature lovers, animal lovers, health lovers.
Besides speaking Spanish, we love to communicate in German. We also speak English. However, we are open to other languages as well.
Our vegan-oasis is a place where no animal products are allowed to be entered, neither as food nor as cosmetic products!
Each volunteer is responsible for their own safety. We are not responsible for accidents, robberies or diseases.

You will have the possibility of living in a vegan and experienced minimal-waste environment.
If plants are one of your strengths, you will be able to coexist with the regional flora (herbology) and fauna.
Tulum is for us a place where you can see the amenities that exist in the city, on the beach and much more.
And it's learning by doing while gardening, building respecting nature and collaborating.

We are looking for supportive, creative, conscious, good vibed people with proper initiatives and skills.
It's important that you are happy working by yourself.
Volunteering works:

-Property-care
-Composting
-House Sitting.
-Daily tasks (picking up leaves, property cleaning, irrigation when there is no rain...)
Important note!
- If you feel unwell or sick and can't provide the labour, you will have to leave the place or pay for the accommodation. With high hygiene and care measures you can use the beautiful kitchen to take care of your food.
Not for people who:
- Like the nightlife (partying, coming home later than 11 pm)
- For women: using tampons or other one-way intimate products
- Are not aware when shopping for plastic packed products and taking plastic bags.
- Who are not willing to live 100% plant-based during their stay.

There is a conditioned room with a fan, toilet and shower, inside the house to take care of, which you can use during the duration of your stay.
Keeping all clean and tidy is a must!
There is a kitchen which you can use. It is in your responsibility to keep it always clean and cleaned up properly. If dishes break, please let us know and we ask kindly to replace them.
Electricity in Tulum is very expensive. We ask you kindly to always turn off lights and fan, when not needed.
The day of your departure, we expect you to clean the place you used, the kitchen, shower, toilet and leave also the bedsheets clean.

During your time off or weekend, you can discover the most beautiful beaches, amazing cenotes, downtown, beautiful lagoons, ruins by renting a bike, taking a taxi or ADO Buses.
We are walking distance from downtown, 3 to 6 km from the beach, 3 km from a few cenotes.
