Descripción
We are a family's farmhouse on a hill near Florence with field around (vegetables and fruits) that we keep only for personal use and not to sell products. Renata (70 y.o), the mother, lives in the house, while me, Giaime (the son, 30 y.o.) with my family, and Francesca (the daughter 40 y.o.) with her family too, we come back in the country house to help the managing during the available time.
It is our family house with garden where you can meet us and our Pluto (our friendly white dog) and the two funny and young sibling cats. We like to share our place and products with friends and other persons.
The main plantation is olive trees for oil, even for table olive and some other plants: grapevines, figs, pear trees, plum trees, blackberries. With the grapevines we make a red wine and when the other fruit plants have a high production, we produce a bit of jam jars. A dedicated area for vegetable garden where we plant the different plants following the seasons.
On a house everyday there is always something to do and to learn.
We ask to help us for maintenance house, garden and plantations, to keep well and live them.

You can meet new people and live on a tuscany farmhouse. You can learn something about the oil and wine production.
During the free time you can walk on the trails in the wood and you can arrive to the Lecceto hermitage or to the nearby villages (Malmantile, Lastra a Signa and Signa). You can visit the Villa Bellosguardo and the near stables and lake, also the big Renai lake where you can sail with a small boat.

The main helps are to take care at the animals, feeding them and walk with the dog one time per day, and to keep the house and garden. i.e. mow the grass, organise the garden area, house keeping, organisation and maintenance the vegetable garden. On our field the helps are for pruning and harvest the different fruits.

We offer you to stay in a shared room with bed. Kitchen and bathrooms are shared too.
We like the phylosophy of excahnge: work for food and host.

Inside the house there are: two kitchens, a living room, 3 bathrooms, our rooms and the wine cellar.
Around the house there is the garden with many flowers, some citrus trees.
We have animals: Pluto (the dog) and Poldo and Miù (young sibling cats).
The house is on the top of the hill and the sight is really fascinating because one can see the nearby hills and villages,
the tuscany Appenniens and the valley of Firenze and Pistoia.
During the free time you can walk on the trails in the wood and you can arrive to the small monastery or to the nearby village,
you can visit the Villa Bellosguardo or you can go to the Renai lake where you can sail with a small boat.
Otherways, not so far (about 3 km) there are bus and train stations and in 15 min you can reach Firenze or Empoli, 45 min Pisa and Pistoia. Anywhere in Tuscany and Cinque Terre in 2h 30 min. Consider fast train to Roma, Milano, Bologna and Venezia.

We can host campervan till 6 metres but we not have possibility to empty the black tank, we must use our bathrooms.
