Hello,
My name is Nicky, and I have been an active Workaway host for almost two years. During this time, I’ve welcomed people from all over the world, and it has been a very positive and rewarding experience.
I currently run two guesthouses in Gozo, Malta, and I am looking for one person to join our team.
The role mainly involves:
* Keeping the common areas of the guesthouses clean and well-presented
* Guest communication and assistance
* Helping to solve day-to-day issues that may arise
* General support with the smooth running of the properties
The expected commitment is approximately 30 hours per week.
In exchange, we offer:
* A shared air conditioned bedroom within the guesthouse (with 1 other volunteer)
* Shared bathroom facilities
* €6 per hour
Requirements:
* Fluent English
* Strong attention to detail when cleaning
* Good organisational skills and general upkeep standards
* Professional and friendly communication
* Ability to problem-solve independently
* Minimum stay of 2 months

On your time off you can enjoy the house, garden and pool. Explore the magical island of Gozo which is very rich in history and typical local culture and lifestyle. Public transport is also easily accessible from the village center. The sea is a 30 minute walk (5 minutes by car)
