  We're a Swedish family of three living in a large house in downtown Siófok, Hungary, 15 min walk to lake Balaton. We work from home and our 13 year old son is in Hungarian school. We have Swedish, English and Hungarian friends in the area. We live in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, close to the centrum, wi=th lots of opportunities to explore the surroundings.
  
  We have an extra apartment (bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom) that we offer free of charge in exchange for some help around the house and garden. The apartment is on the plot, but has it's own entrance. There is a double bed in the bedroom and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. Kitchen has a cooking top and a small fridge.
  
  Outside the apartment is a small BBQ and table/chairs. The big BBQ and jacuzzi is available on request.

  Our family is from Sweden, but have lived in Hungary for 6 years. We embrace both Swedish and Hungarian culture and would love to share our knowledge about both food and traditions from both. We will include and teach you about lifestyle in both countries. We attend as much activities as our job allows us to and you would be most welcome to join us. Want to learn some Swedish or Hungarian? We'd be happy to help you learn that too. As we love to learn new skills, and learn about other cultures and languages, we hope to have a fruitful exchange of knowledge with you.
  
  Siófok is a summer holiday place for a lot of people from both Hungary and other European countries. The area around lake Balaton is really amazing in summer and Siófok offers the best party place with Petöfi sétány and it's bars and restaurants open all summer. Come and experience Europe's Ibiza for yourself.
  
  Budapest is just an hour away and easily reached by train.

  Ayuda

  We'd love it you would be interested in learning about and joining with maintaning the garden, and other indoor/outdoor projects we do. We garden by hydrophonics, and you could learn from the knowledge we have.
  
  If you'd like you can help care for our 6 chickens. (Our 2 cats will likely be around... being the curious, anti-help they are.)
  
  As for other projects we have several planned and if you want to try/learn from us we'd love to include you. We only do smaller indoor and outdoor projects ourselves (like setting up a new gardening spot), the big ones we leave to hired professionals.

  You have the option to either eat all meals with us, or to cook/BBQ yourselves in own kitchen. All food will be bought by us (or you can shop yourself on our expense).
  
  We have no food allergies or special diet in our family, if you have... we will need to know.

  Your free time is yours. We have no rules other than keeping somewhat quiet after normal hours (we do have neighbors that we like and we'd like them to stay friends).
  
  You want to go somewhere special? We'll try to help with transport if possible or help you find the best option. Wanna go somewhere and be away for more than a couple of days? We're flexible, let's just talk and most things can be solved.
  
  We have a bike and kickbikes that can be borrowed on request.
