  We are a small family of a mother and two small children, age 2 and 9, that are looking forward to host volunteers from across our globe!
  We live in a house in the very city center of Arendal, in the very south of Norway. Arendal is a lovely town offering the very best of the costal Norway, beautiful nature and a warm, cosy city center.
  I'm a former backpacker, and I have as well hosted many many travelers , so I'm very familiar with the traveling spirit! I've been hosted many times and I've hosted even more.
  I've always enjoyed welcoming the world into my home, as for me, that is like traveling as well!
  Coming to our home, you'll get to know us and Arendal town and the surrounding areas.
  My 9 year old is fluent in english, so our guests will feel right at home and fully included!
  We will invite you in with arms wide open and looking forward to get to know you, offer you a safe stay, and gladly receive some help to different projects, as me as an single mom, is the perfect person to help, if you have the caring spirit and soul. Cus I'd be ever so grateful!:)

  I LOVE having guests in my home!
  For me, when I invite to my home, my home is yours to feel at home in!
  I'd love to get to know you, learn about you and your culture and your passions and interests.
  
  Here, you get to know the simple every day life in Norway for a small family household. You will meet Norway with us as we take the car to beautiful spots or just take our lovely walks around town. There are beautiful places to walk by the ocean front, and there are nature and forests to soak into. We´ll grab a picknick and set out for good spots, or just do BBQ in the garden.
  
  From being a backpacker and traveling around A LOT, I now just absolutely LOVE the calmness of life and my lovely little bubble in this part of the world!
  I love going to the restaurants here, sitting by the waterfront with an icecream, going for walks in the forest and taking the car to the island to the nature reserve and have the horizon calm my soul and connect whit the heaven and earth as I breath in the fresh air.
  I'm curious about who you are and we'd sit and have cosy talks together.
  I can help ease your mind and find ways to relax yourself in soul and mind, as I've been through a lot and come out on the other side with a smile on my face. I've gathered a good amount of wisdom about life and how we see and face and live in harmony with it.
  
  My biggest traits are empathy and care.
  I see others and feel for them, and with them.
  I know traveling could get lonely. And not only to get help around my house or artistic inspiration, I just love to be able to provide a comfortable and caring space to be, were you'd be having company and to get to know me and my little family and feel at home and safe.
  
  
  We as well have three ragdoll cats, and a rabbit and a dog. So it’s important you like animals as there are more of them than humans in this house! 😄

  Ayuda

  There are some small different projects to be done.
  I bought my house now two years ago.
  It's a 170 year old house, in great condition and very beautiful and has no specific things to be done with, no particular needs.
  But it has many fun things and projects to do!! 😃
  
  I'm currently organizing the garden and outdoor space around the house.
  I also would Building cute stuff for the kids in the garden. You know, things that inspire the kids and fills them with playful inspiration.
  
  I simply just love the company of others and it inspires me to do things!
  I'm a doer, in the good company of another!:)
  
  I´d like to welcome artists as well: a photographer. And we'd go around my area and you'll see our beautiful town and the surrounding areas and shoot some pics!
  
  An artist painter would be lovely as well, as painting is something I´ve dreamed of diving deeper into and together we could paint and enjoy the days of inspiration.
  
  I´m welcoming volunteers wishing different durations of stay, but prefer a minimum of one month stay, as I’m not interested in the in and out, hello-good bye 😅. So let me know what you are looking for!

  Alojamiento

  You will have your own private room situated on the third floor.
  
  On the first floor is a second living room, my sons bedroom, a bath and a tiny kitchen where as well the washing machine is.
  
  On the second floor is our main kitchen and livingroom. You have free access to this space together with us.
  We'd cook and have meals together.
  Third floor is our two bedrooms and the second bath with a bathtub to soak in!:)
  
  Breakfast and dinner is included in your stay at our place. You are more than welcomed to share cooking knowlege!:))

  Arendal is a small enough city, that you can do by foot! We live a 10 minute walking distance from the very city center with its shops and restaurants. If you are curious to see more places more far away, if I can´t join you, we can have agreements with you borrowing the car for a shorter drive.

  Moses

  Our sweet Moses, the loveliest rabbit.
  We suddenly lost our little friend so unexpectedly. And our hearts broke.
  
  We are waiting for his breeder to have a new littler with Moses mom. And we will have a brother or sister of Moses joining our family. Moses can never be replaced. But having a new bunny, it’s definitely a sibling of his we’d wish for 🙏🫶
