ENGLISH | SPANISH SPEAKING
*️We prefer Spanish speakers so we can practice our Spanish * I am an English teacher in a local language school.
We are in the Bayside area of Brisbane south-east and would welcome help from an au pair (and/or a gardener couple). We have a room with a queen sized bed and provide internet and meals. This is a big, beautiful, white house in a highly sought after area in between the city and the beach. We have a small garden and a pool and we ask some help around our house.
A bus stop is 5 mins walk away and will take 45 mins to go to the city or around 30 mins to go to the local beaches.

The projects we are currently working on are:
- helping daughter improve her reading and writing skills
- removing weeds and planting out new gardens
I am looking for helpers with a background in childcare and gardening. Please contact me if you have , or would like to learn any of the following skills:
• Cooking, fitness, and nutrition, body - building.
• Literature, art, music, film, & vibrant, thriving culture
• Childcare & housekeeping
• Cooking meals from scratch, with knowledge of and proven skill preparing dishes for specialized diets, including high protein, low carb.
Your tasks (negotiable):
- Read to my 10 year old daughter every day and help her with her homework - teaching qualification not strictly necessary but highly desirable.
- clean the pool daily
- garden maintenance
- clean the house, floors, bathrooms, take out garbage, etc
- hang out laundry and bring it back in, folded and return to upstairs area.
- vacuum and shampoo the carpets in the shared area upstairs
- cooking meals as per requirements
- mopping floors at least once per week

This place is very beautiful and peaceful and we can hear the kookaburras some mornings!
We need help to clear weeds, and plant something nice, as well as pulling up weeds. Our nearest city is Brisbane and we go there at least once per week. Famous Manly beach boat harbour Is half an hour away by bus.
You stay minimum 2 weeks maximum 3 months. I have a spare room. You help 4 hours per day every day except Sunday and Monday. On your days off you can be free to do your own shopping, or anything you need to do in the city. We don't usually eat meals together, but you are welcome to try.
We are on the door step of ancient forests and waterfalls to explore and go hiking during your time off. We are partially off-grid so have solar power and rainwater tanks so you need to be water conscious.
There is a very small garden and we would like to put some veggie gardens in plus fix the ones that are overgrown. If you are alternative, into permaculture, know about living off grid, or/and sustainable living then you will really like it here.

My jobs were mainly gardening stuff: Weeding, mooving plants, planting, clearing grass... also some carpenter work.
We enjoyed Christmas and we had a couple of parties around her place. I enjoyed it a lot :blush:
