  👋 Hi everyone!
  
  We’re looking for positive and dynamic people who speak English (spanish is a big plus :-) but depending on the task not a deal breaker if you do not) to join us at our jungle lodge by the sea.
  
  You will be helping our local team and depending on your skills which will allow you to practice your spanish because none of our staff speak english (altough they understand it pretty well) but to get to know them and hopefully teach each other new things.
  Tibu is is from Ngäbe-Buglé community and loves to share about their tradition and way of life. He works the garden and is sort of our maintenance guy on site but always in need of extra hands and exchanging skills.
  
  Natividad is our chef and sometimes needs fresh ideas
  
  Rosa is our fairy, head of the cleaning and is also happy and working alongside her sometimes means she can leave early to go back to her family which is always appreciated.
  
  We are looking for 2 types of profiles :
  
  - A handy person ( carpenting, painting help, maintenance help)
  - Guest help and occasionally giving a hand to Nati and some cleaning duties. Always help alongside someone, just making everyone's work a little lighter is the idea.
  
  We ask for a minimum stay of one month, so you have time to settle in, get comfortable with the routines, and truly enjoy the full experience.
  We are ideally looking for a couple or two people travelling together to join and help us (ideally one is handy and the other one good with guest relations).
  If you're friendly, responsible, and love meeting new people, we’d love to hear from you!
  
  Keeping yourself, your room, and shared spaces clean (to be done on personal time, not during help hours)
  No loud music
  
  Please keep in mind that this is the caribbean, so even if it's most of the time beautiful, sometimes you randomly get a week of rain. If you can just appreciate that and go with the flow, then Bocas is the right place for you.
  We would ask for 5H of help per day - 4 days a week.

  Despite "civilization" being nearby, on the premises you will get a sense of being removed from the rest of the world and get in rhythm with nature. This means early sleeping and waking up - carpe diem!

  You will have access to a fully equipped kitchen for cooking your own meals.
  
  🛏️ Sleeping arrangements
  You’ll be staying and sharing a 2 bedrooms apartment but will have your own room (potentially shared bathroom) — simple, clean, cozy, and comfortable.
  🌿🌊 On your time off you can explore our full 11-acre grounds and surrounding beaches and jungle.
  Borrow a kayak and explore the nearby snorkeling spots
  Walk to the village of Old Bank and Wizard Beach
  We go to town several days / week and you are welcome to hop on our boat to get to Isla Colon.

  Hi! We are a belgian family and their pets (a dog and a cat) managing a jungle lodge on Bastimentos island in the archipelago of Bocas Del Toro
  Nestled in the jungle, it’s quiet yet close to everything. We aim to create a welcoming, clean, and affordable space where travelers can feel at home, relax, and recharge.
  Our place is located 10 min by boat from Bocas town and 20 min walk from the village of Old Bank. It is the closest solution from the village/town but offering lush greenery, space and a completely quiet environment.

  You will do tasks closely with us but also with our one worker who is an Ngobe indian ethnic and loves sharing and learning about different cultures. Also you will have the opportunity to live in nature, by the water and off the grid, surrounded by sloths and white face monkeys and by this learning about sustainable ways of living.

  Ayuda

  Task depends on day to day need but include : chatting with clients and help them in organizing their day, ordering boat-taxis, check-out, check-in, occasionnal cleaning when our housekeeper needs extra hands. You will have to be somehow flexible with the tasks ahead because it depends on a day to day basis.
  
  If you are in for handy man position it will depend on the needs at the time you visit.

  The property has a 200 meters water front and a bordering reef that offers great snorkeling. We also have kayaks at the disposal of clients that travellers would be allowed to use. The property also offers a lush environment with a rich biodiversity that can be observed on site (monkeys, anteaters, sloths, snakes, leaffrogs are all sighted regularly on the property). Depending on season the area also offers great surf and scubadiving.
