We are a small Ecolodge in the rainforest area near the Sinharaja Reserve. This project was started in 2013.
On 6 acres of hill land, situated on an 100 year old Tea Estate we are running this remote Eco Lodge since 6 years
Currently we focus on planting fruit trees and Vegetables to support our needs. There are Spice and Fruit trees growing like Cinnamon, Jackfruits, Papaya, Banana, Pineapple, Coconut and more.
We enjoy living simple and off the land as much as possible that’s why we practice a mostly fruit based diet and love to connect to likeminded people. We also have a space for Yoga & Meditation practice so any Yoga and Meditation practitioners are welcome.

Daily maintenance of the 3 two bedroom bungalows includes sweeping, control of ants, taking care of the garden and pets (Cat and Dog).
There are many beautiful trees and lots of nature (birds, squirrels, monkeys, fireflies) around which is amazing but makes a basic maintenance necessary.
This place is ideal for people who enjoy peace, nature, Yoga /Meditation, raw vegan or frutarian diet, want to retreat from city life and reconnect to nature.

The accomodation is a cosy Mud Cabana with en suite bathroom and a double mattress. It is situated near the river a bit away from the other main buildings. Two people can sleep there comfortably.
The Sinharaja Rainforest Reserve is the local attraction where tours can be arranged on demand.
In the nearby village Kotapola is the locally famous ancient buddhist cave temple Getabaruwa Dewalaya, situated on a hill (458m above sea level) which is worth a visit. Or just take a relaxed walk on our local Batandura road and experience authentic village life.
About 3 hours by bus down south you can reach the sea.

There is a quite stabile wify connection which allows to stream videos, do video calls most of the time. Only in periods with more rain it can be a bit slower or cut off for short periods but it’s not a big problem.
