Hi, My name is Nick.
I live in Edmonton Alberta for over 30 years. My sister and I host travelers through bnb sites and other hosting sites. I have hosted over 150 guests and roommates. I am a superhost and have been a travelling guest and host.
I can offer a private room, one single/double bed, a shared bathroom, shared kitchen and high speed internet in the core of Edmonton. Lunch and snack are provided on working days. Meals are not guaranteed during days off but we do try and provide a staple of food to cook from yourself. We do offer plenty of free time to explore and adventure.

A cultural exchange will help you understand what it is like to be amongst Canadians and this area of Canada. People who enjoy adventure should apply here.
I myself can very busy with work and other things. I can give you all the information you will need to make it around the Edmonton and surrounding area and are free to explore. If I do have time I would love to explore with you (but that is not a guarantee).

I am looking for general help and assistance with landscaping, paint and renovations. I have tools available and you will be helping under supervision from me or Amelia. You will never be running tools or doing things you are not comfortable with. However a can do attitude is a must!
There are several things required of the guest who stay on the property.
1. Be self sufficient.
2. Be willing to learn and understand.
3. Be Helpful and Fair
4. Be respectful
5. Leave no trace.

Getting to Edmonton from the airport:
SkyShuttle (The most cost effective and 2nd fastest way to travel)
Van Service to nearby hotels and area. More costly then bus but cheaper then Uber. Each trip is $18 or $30 roundtrip to the airport and back.
The Van service does not stop directly in front of my home so it is up to you to walk, call a taxi or uber, or catch a bus from the hotel that you are dropped off at.
Bus (The least pricey and longest way to travel)
If you prefer a longer but lower priced way to arrive at my home please use the city bus system. There is a specific bus that links the airport to the train system (bus 747) which costs $5 cash and can get you into the city. From there you must find a bus schedule to arrive at my location.
Uber (The fastest way and most pricey)
(another taxi service) is the best option to get from the airport to my home.
Edmonton Airport has free wifi so as long as you have a smart phone you can use it to download the app and call uber as well.
Please use this promo code if this is the first time using Uber (you will receive $2 off your first trip).
