  We are a family of 3 (German/English, 57,62 and 15 years old), a dog a cat and some chickens. We have relocated to Portugal about 30 years ago, our son was born here and we love living in this beautiful country.
  We are looking for a couple/or 2 friends who would enjoy general work around the house, like painting and garden work etc.(varnishing of the wood outside would be the next urgent task).
  We have a beautiful, little cottage next to our house as accommodation to offer with your own kitchenete/fridge, TV, bathroom, bedroom and living room and I will cook one meal a day for you, normally in the evening.
  You can prepare breakfast and additional meals in your cottage yourself.
  You are also welcome to use our pool.
  In return, we would like to ask you for about 4 hours of help per day, 5 days a week.
  As we are located in the country side in the Algarve, public transportation is not great, but Uber works very good and is cheap.
  We are also happy to give you a lift to Sao Bras de Alportel (5km) or Loule (7km) (from Loule, there is a public bus to the beach) on your day off or on the other days as we are frequently going into town.
  The cottage would be ideal for a couple who enjoys a quiet time.
  Looking forward to a couple who would enjoy spending time in our little paradise and is enthusiastic to help with our tasks around the house.

  We have been living in the village of Sao Bras de Alportel for many years and are integrated in the Portuguese community. This is the real Portugal you can discover here with their lovely local people.
  Instead of travelling the world, like I did, when I was younger, I would love people from all over the world to come to us now...

  I will cook the main meal (usually dinner) to share with the Workawayers and will provide food for breakfast and lunch (the Workawayers can prepare the meals in the kitchen of their cottage)
