  We live in a small village in Central, north Bulgaria and grow a lot of our own food, keep chickens and a goat. We enjoy a fairly quiet life with the odd party / karaoke night with local friends.

  Our village is very small and no one had met with outsiders before we moved here from England. It is good to see how real Bulgarians live, rather than just visiting the cities.

  There are regular buses from our village to Svishtov, Polski Trambesh and Veliko Tarnovo if you like to eat out or visit towns. There are three lakes, nice walks, birdwatching, cycling, karaoke nights, local tiny shop for evening drinks and games of dominos.
