Descripción
We are an eco-friendly capsule hostel in the heart of Porto, just next to Mercado do Bolhão. Our hostel is located in a beautifully renovated 19th-century building with a large garden where guests relax in hammocks or enjoy our bar. Sustainability is central to our philosophy: we hold the Green Key certification and run our hostel with renewable energy, waste separation, LED lighting, and eco-friendly products.
Our team is international, friendly, and passionate about offering travelers a warm and professional experience in Porto.

We’re looking for a night volunteers to join our friendly team and help us keep everything running smoothly!✨ Main Tasks
- You’ll receive full training, but the main focus will be:
- Reception support: welcoming late arrivals, answering simple questions, keeping the space calm overnight
- Security & maintenance checks: ensuring the hostel and garden remain tidy and safe
- Laundry or light housekeeping if needed (only occasionally)
🕐 Schedule
- 5 nights per week, from 00h to 7h
- Most hours are quiet time, when you can rest or sleep, as long as you’re available to assist if needed
💚 What We Ask
- Reliability and responsibility during your shifts
- A good level of English (Portuguese, Spanish or French are a plus)
- A calm, friendly attitude and ability to handle things independently
- Minimum stay: 1-2 months preferred
🌞 Extra Perks
- We can arrange paid extra shifts (at night or during busy periods) for those who want to earn more pocket money.

- Explore Porto: wander the UNESCO historical centre, Ribeira by the river, Clérigos Tower, Livraria Lello, and taste world-famous Port wine in the cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia.
- Beaches: only 25 minutes away by metro or bus, you’ll find sandy beaches perfect for surfing, sunbathing, or sunset walks.
- Day Trips: easily reach the Douro Valley for wine tasting, Guimarães (the birthplace of Portugal), or Braga’s famous Bom Jesus sanctuary.
- Transport: we are just 200m from Bolhão metro station, which connects you to the airport in about 30 minutes and links to all parts of the city. Trains from nearby Campanhã station open the door to the whole north of Portugal.
- With such a central location, you’ll never run out of things to do — from cultural visits and nightlife to nature escapes and food adventures.
