  We, that is Marlies and Marco, live a relatively self-sufficient life on a meadow on the edge of the forest in 2 construction vehicles and look forward to people who want to come and have a try. There is its own well, an outdoor kitchen, a shower place, a composting toilet, a greenhouse - even a washing machine and of course a woofer hut. The site also has WiFi and a power supply - mostly produced by our own solar modules. We have occasionally changing co-residents who then live with us on a weekly or monthly basis. We do have a dog living with us here. Marlies looks after the large garden, which provides us with food. Marco is the craftsman on on the place. Since we do not have a car, we cannot pick you up from the train station - either take the train to Schnega and walk 10 km or drive to Salzwedel, get on the bus and drive to our neighbour-village - from there it is 3 km. Of course, if you have a bike, it would be easiest. Please plan to come for a minimum time of 2 weeks.
  
  If you come between October until April be prepared that it could be cold. Therefor it is good to bring an extra sleeping-bag. During spring to autumn you are going to stay in the volunteer hut, beside we do have for the wintertime an extra trailer with a stove.
  We offer only food that grows in our Garden. Feel free to pick/harvest as much as you need. The days we are cooking we would invite you to join. For everything else you need for yourself you have to take care by your own.
  
  Wir, das sind Marlies und Marco, leben auf einer Wiese am Waldrand in 2 Bauwägen ein relativ autarkes Selbstversorgerleben und freuen uns über Menschen, die schnuppern kommen möchten. Es gibt einen eigenen Brunnen, eine Außenküche, eine Hüttendusche, eine Komposttoilette,einem Gewächshaus - sogar eine Waschmaschine und natürlich eine Woofer-Hütte. Der Platz hat auch WLan und eine Stromversorgung - größtenteils produziert von eigenen Solarmodulen. Wir haben gelegentlich wechselnde MItbewohner, welche dann wochen- oder monatsweise bei uns leben. Als Dauerbewohner wäre noch unser Hund zu nennen. Marlies betreut den großen Garten, welcher uns Nahrungsmittel zur Verfügung stellt. Marco ist der Handwerker auf dem Platz.. Da wir kein Auto besitzen, können wir Euch nicht vom Bahnhof abholen - entweder fährt man mit dem Zug nach Schnega und läuft 10 km oder man fährt bis Salzwedel, steigt in den Bus und fährt in unser Nachbarorf - von dort sind es dann 3 km. Wenn Du ein Fahrrad hast, wäre es natürlich am einfachsten.
  Wir haben uns entschlossen, nur noch Leute einzuladen, welche mindestens 2 Wochen bei uns einplanen. Wenn Du im März, April oder Oktober kommen möchtest, sei darauf vorbereitet, dass es kälter werden kann. Dann wäre es gut, Du bringst einen Schlafsack mit. Die Hütte hat keine Heizung aber ein warmes Bett. Im Winter wärest Du im Gäste-Trailer einquartiert, dort gibt es einen Ofen.
  Du kannst im Garten ernten was Du brauchst zum Essen. Für alles andere musst Du selber sorgen. Wenn wir kochen bist Du gerne eingeladen mit uns zu essen.

  Get out of the mill that is called everyday life. As a young person you may not be aware of this yet, but because of our serenity towards normal life, we may be able to give everyone a new perspective on life. And we always hope for new experiences through exchange and different views.
  
  
  Raus aus der Mühle, die Alltag heißt. Als junger Mensch ist man sich dessen vielleicht noch nicht so bewusst, aber durch unsere Gelassenheit dem üblichen Leben gegenüber können wir jedem vielleicht eine neue Sicht auf das Leben geben. Und für uns erhoffen wir auch immer neue Erfahrungen durch Austausch und andere Ansichten.

  We have little projects which are pending or you can go for a walk with the dog, teach Marlies English and talk to Marco Spanish, help her in the garden. Sometimes just let your feet dangle - we were workawayers ourselves for years and don't see it so doggedly - You may just be there without having to tear up any hours. Sometimes we go for 3 hours to the local Organic Farmer to help - if you like you can join.
  
  Wir haben zumeist kleine Projekte, die anstehen; man kann auch mit dem Hund spazierengehen, Marlies Englisch beibringen und mit Marco Spanisch reden oder Marlies im Garten helfen. Manchmal auch einfach die Füße baumeln lassen - wir waren selbst jahrelang Workawayer und sehen es nicht so verbissen - ihr dürft auch einfach nur da sein, ohne irgendwelche Stunden reißen zu müssen. Manchmal gehen wir für 3 Stunden zum örtlichen Bio-Bauern auf das Feld und helfen mit - gerne dürft Ihr uns hier begleiten.

  We live on the edge of a small village, the nearest shop is 3 km away. also the public transport in the form of a bus that goes to Salzwedel. The nearest train station is 10 km away. About 2 km away there is a little nice public swimming pool open from Mai to September. Bring some Slippers and maybe a flashlite. We are not accepting any kinds of drugs on our place, we want you to connect with the nature and the people open minded and not stoned!
  
  Wir leben am Rande eines kleinen Dorfes, die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist 3 km entfernt. ebenso der öffentliche Nahverkehr in Form eines Busses, der nach Salzwedel fährt. Der nächste Bahnhof ist 10 km entfernt. Gut 2 km entfernt gibt es eine kleine, schöne Badeanstalt am Waldesrand, welche von Mai bis September geöffnet ist. Am Besten bringst du ein Paar Latschen und eine Taschenlampe mit. Wir akzepzieren keine Drogen bei uns auf dem Platz; wir möchten einen Austausch mit Dir bei klarem Verstand und nicht bekifft!

  Falls ein Hund der Begleiter ist sollte dieser freundlich und kinderlieb sein. Der Hund kann nicht in der Woofer-Hütte schlafen - wenn Dein Hund die Nacht bei Dir sein soll, dann müßtest Du zelten. If you travel with a dog he should be friendly and accept other dogs and children. The dog is not allowed to sleep in the woofer-hut. If you want to have your dog close to you at night bring a tent to sleep in.
