Help with DIY project and gardening while hiking with the dogs in Gavere, Belgium

  Hello,
  
  two adjacent fieldhouses in a huge garden are waiting to get your TLC, so that they can be turned into , who knows, a meditationsl place. (Or at least a place where some people can find peace and share their ‘healthy living’ knowledge.
  
  I can not reach this on my own.
  But do I need to if there is you?
  
  I enjoyed African and cultural studies in my twenties, and am also a former worldtraveller. I dó love constructive cultural interaction, so workaway seems to offer the perfect solution to make this authentic place shine again!
  
  (Here some former ideas from the beginning of summer which did not happen due to other priorities.
  To install a rainwater container, to clean up a pond, to help build the occasionnal fire in the evening, to clean up out-and inside spaces, maybe make a compost toilet…
  Some woodwork could also come in hand. > we could maybe build a little sauna here in the garden with a simple stove, that could then also be used by us?)
  
  >> these were former tasks, of which some can still be performed if you like, but below, you will find some more urgent ones now that ‘winter is coming’
  
  Close up the attic with gyproc (unless you have a better idea for this?…)is one I add here, because I forgot it below.
  
  In any case
  You will find peace here for sure and most beautiful Ghent, is not even half an hour drive away, if the countryside would at times become too peaceful for you.
  
  About myself : I studied cultural studies and travelled b4 this project ‘came’ to me.
  
  A loving person with ‘two right hands’, a heart for animals, a good sense of humor, and respecting ‘personal space’ and a healty lifestyle would be a big plus.

  Renovation skills can also be ‘learned’ or ‘exercised’.

  Where to start… 😅
  
  Maybe with the most enjoyable thing on offer, cos If you feel the smaller of the two houses can benefit from your renovation skills, of course you will be free to stay in this house during your stay. (After we connect.)
  
  Also I will love to get your help in the 3000 square meter garden here in the fields, cos everything has grown a lot during previous rain, snd I sm less capable of taking care of it all due to getting a little older (a.o.)
  
  Both houses will definately also benefit from your carpentry and/or plumbing (and painting) skills!
  
  Also general maintenance is very welcome (but not a necessity…) seeing to the fact that I find myself now since over year , on a waitinglist for someone to help me keep these beautiful big spaces, clean a little, and this is hard to reach on my own, but of course we could fork zlongside each other here!
  
  At least I trust you would beautify and maintain your own place and its wonderfall side/ field terrace with bíg tree.
  
  (A stable which does not have a roof anymore, could be organised as a shelter for a dog or two and/ or a space which will be covered so that ouside eating can be enyojed even with the occassional drizzle. )
  
  (But I will be happy to share ideas about this place here and its possibilities. :-)
  
  …. > we will walk around and decide together what you can give zttention to first !
  
  (Sidenote: there were always two ir three cats living here, but at the moment its two sweet dogs that I managed to rescue, thst share the bigger house and its garden with me.
  (One of them (the podenco). could do with a walk extra sometimes. Again, this is not a necessity, but msybe you would enjoy doing this with Candela.)

  My mothertongue is Dutch, but I just lóve speaking (and reading!) in English and am also able to communicate in French, Spanish or German .

  Alojamiento

  A Separate house with a terrace overlooking the fields, could be made possible, in any case we will both be able to enjoy our peace and quiet here. :-)
  I am willing to offer the smaller house in return for work. because this place has its own kitchen , also an occasional meal would be nice. 🌼😊🌼
  
  Of course we will be free what concerns inviting each other occasionally for a meal (this will I guess come ‘naturally or not’, which is ‘all good’.
  
  When we ‘click’ we will invite each other, or take turns in cooking.
  (I’m still a flexitarian, eat as little meat as is possible, lots of veggies , sometimes fish.
  I appreciate it if someone wants to share a healthy lifestyle with me,
