Descripción
We’re a family of three: Jan, Anne and our 6 year old daughter Fleur. We live in Belgium near Ghent and Brussels. We are 80% self sustaining with our ecological/biological garden which we fertilize with manure from our horses. Water and electricity not yet though, future project! :).
Basically our project is to be self sustaining :).
We have moved during the covid pandemic and are starting a new garden and are renovating two houses aswell. Loads of projects!

We are close to Ghent and Brussels and other Flemish towns. The countryside is pretty and quiet. You will get healthy and fresh food and we love to talk about anything :). Our culture (we are a Dutch - Belgian household), nature, eco projects and biological gardening, horses, barefoot trimming, art, politics. Or you pick a book out of our vast collection :).

We have various tasks to do daily, the biological garden always needs something to be done. Childcare ofcourse is a never ending activity outside school hours :). Furthermore there is always some work with the horses: fencing, feeding, poo picking, bringing the hay in, trimming (Anne is a professional trimmer and tutor, has her school at the house and would love to teach you), scything or cutting gras.. And ofcourse there are always general house keeping tasks to be done. So no skills required, though always very welcome, just bring your enthousiastic self :).
We are also renovating a lot (two houses) so any help there is brilliant.

Alojamiento
We have two houses, there is plenty of room for you to stay. You will have your own room and use of the fully equipped kitchen. And ofcourse a bathroom.
The house you will stay in is used during weekends for students to have lunch and theoretical lessons at, during the week Anne has her office there too, you won't be alone but will have your privacy.

You can go on endless walks, visit Ghent, Brussels, Bruges, take a weekend off and visit Paris or Amsterdam by train (4 hrs). Anything :).
