My names Kevin. I'm an Irish guy but have been living in Krakow for about 11 years now. I have been sailing in Croatia on "EveryThing Zen" for the last 5 years. The boat is an Oceanis 393 (just under 12m), has 3 double cabins, 2 heads (toilets), Kitchen and Salon. It can sleep 8 people, but is much more comfortable with 3/5 people on board.
During the winter I travel extensively (generally warm places), and the summer I spend on the boat. I have a few companies with offices in Poland and Ireland but I can manage them remotely, I have internet on board so can easily stay in touch with work. Probably the best way to describe my way of work would be as a digital nomad.
Croatia has over 1,400 islands, so theres always plenty to explore, see and do.
If you are looking for references, I have over 50 positive responses on another website.

After having sailed in Croatia for 6 years its now time to move on. While I've enjoyed Croatia and it’s a fantastic sailing area, with plenty of safe anchorages and over 1200 islands to explore. But over the last couple of years the amount of charter boats has spoiled the area, making it hard to get a berth for the night in some places. The second reason is that its probably one of the more expensive areas to sail in the Med. The Croatian government have introduced a new tax (2018), so that was the final nail in the coffin and its time to move on…
So I'm sailing to GREECE…… The exact route I'm not sure of yet but there are a few options.
Sail directly to Corfu from Croatia
Sail from Lastavo to Bari then make our way down the east coast of Italy before crossing to Corfu
Sail to Montenegro (spend a week or two there) then onto Albania before finally going to Corfu.
Which of the options I'll go with will depend on the crew or lack of crew and I'll make that decision later.
So what's the plan once we get to Greece.
1. Arrive in Croatia mid April, get the boat ready. Do a goodbye tour (over the 6 years I've met lots of locals who have become friends) for a month before leaving for Greece.
2. (June) Spend a month sailing around the Ionian sea, Corfu, Zakynthos (shipwreck bay will be a highlight) etc.
3. (July - Oct) Go through the Corinth Canal into the Aegean Sea and spend 3 or 4 months slowly making our way down through as many islands (Ios, Santorini, Mykonos, Paros, Kos, etc) as we possibly can before finally getting to Crete where I'll leave the boat for the winter.
What type of CREW am I looking for.
I'm not expecting the CREW to have experience, as I can teach you everything as its not that complicated. But this is a real sailing boat, Its not a cruise ship, its not a charter boat where there's A/C and a hostess to bring you cocktails. You are NOT a passenger, you'll be CREW and expected to help out with the following
Provisioning
Cooking
Cleaning
Watch Keeping
Help fixing the boat
Help Docking the boat
Saying all that, apart from the watch keeping there's not that much work to do and you'll have most of the day to sunbathe and swim off the boat or go explore a nearby island.
I'm looking for people who have the following characteristics.
Fun
Outgoing
Helpful
Party Animal - Teetotlers please don't apply.
Adventurous
Good sense of humor
Easy Going
Ability to make a mean Cocktail
Bonus
Videography / Editing Skills
Social Media Influencer (over 50K followers on Instagram)
What's the daily Plan.
The Plan is there's no Plan. The sailing will be fairly relaxed day sailing with mostly short trips. Normally I would leave a bay/port around 10am, sail for 3 or 4 hours before stopping for lunch and a swim. Then sail for another couple of hours to get to our destination for the evening. If I like a place I will normally stay there for 2 or 3 days before heading to the next location.
Most days we should be in a town or anchored near to it, so should be able to explore different parts of Greece either by moped or with a hire car.
I'm also planning on putting together a weekly video and putting it on Youtube to document the trip and explore the towns and islands where we visit. So looking for someone who is comfortable picking up a camera and documenting all the good things and bad things of sailing.
How long am I looking for you to stay.
Ideally 3 or 4 weeks, so I'll have enough time to train you up and get some use out of you :) After this time, you should be competent enough to put up the sails and sail the boat off into the sunset. You'll definitely be good enough to get a spot on any boat as crew.
I'll also take people on board for 3 or 4 days if we happen to be in the same area. .
