We are a loving family living in sunny Carinthia, in sud Austria, next to the border from Italy and Slovenia. We have a large house, with garden and natural swimming pond, cats and chicken. We are surrounded by mountains and lakes, many people come here for vacation. We are not on the tourist path, but close to everything interesting. We are an Austrian family, me Sonja the grandmother, my daughter and two grandchildren, 8 and 11-year old. We would like to learn English, some computer skills and some help with miscellaneous chores around the house. We could teach some traditional cooking, and we could show the mountains and lakes around. We have bikes, and all that one needs to be happy in the countryside. We are a creative family, I can teach some paintings as I am an accomplished painter, my daughter is very good in various craftsmanship, and even the cats speaks German :). My granddaughter plays the piano and flute and my grandson does the Biathlon and both are doing Jijutzu. In any event, we are never bored or boring.

The most important help we need with our English. We are very beginners :) We could use some help also with some basic computer skills. Other than that we just like to have a little help around the house with everyday chores.

We have a guestroom, toilet and bathroom are shared with me on the ground floor. My daughter lives separate on the first floor with the children. We have a large kitchen. Meals are free to take whenever one needs to eat, sometimes we all sit together, sometimes we just have a bite on the run. In any event, people feel home at our place. Much nature surrounds us, and the small town is in a walking distance.
We have no experience with Workawayer so far, but we open our doors to the world and we are confident that the right people would come to us. We would do everything possible so that our guests can have a good time.
