  We are a backpacker hostel, established by an Ecuadorian-Australian couple. With the needs of travelers in mind we have expanded to rooftop terrace and bar and an inhouse tourist agency. Spread over 3 buildings and 5 floors, we offer everything a traveler needs. Here you can meet people from all over the World, improve your Spanish, learn new skills and get to know the locals and their customs. All that with the best view of the historic Old Town.

  As a Workawayer at our place you will work side by side with our local and international staff. You will get adopted as a family member and have the chance to improve your Spanish and get to know Ecuadorian lifestyle, traditions and everything else. You will have to answer all of the questions about your home country, play your music, tell us about your culture, teach your coworkers some words in your language etc.

  Ayuda

  We are not looking for volunteers to replace our paid Ecuadorian staff, but rather to complement them. You will spend a lot of time with our local staff and therefore have a great opportunity to improve your Spanish, help them with their English and even pick up on a new language from someone from our international crew.
  
  We have 2 main areas where you help as a volunteer - reception and rooftop bar. At the reception you will help greet guests and welcome them to Quito, showing guests around the hostel and generally making sure that our guests are having a great time. At the rooftop bar you will help organize daily activities such as Trivia quizzes, Movie night, Beer Pong Tournaments, Language Exchange etc. and promote/join our free activities organized by the staff, such as Salsa and Bachata Classes, Free Walking Tour etc.
  Let us know if you have any special skills or interests that you want to show off or improve. As we are a very lively hostel, we can easily find some other type of work you will enjoy.

  We have a lot of staff members that are eager to learn and improve their knowledge of English or Spanish language.

  Bed in a dormitory, shared with other volunteers.
  We offer free breakfast and dinner every day and 50% discount in our bar/restaurante. You can join all of our daily activities and we provide you with discounted Spanish classes, as well as certain discounted tours with the travel agency.
  As a thank you for your help and time, we give you an all-inclusive free night in our adventure lodge, overlooking the Cotopaxi National Park.
