  I'm Mark, a keen environmentalist with a former industrial design engineer, well known in audio speaker industry for inventing a type of speaker that saves on materials and production energy. My company's mantra is "do more with less". I'm a keen traveller, lived and worked in Asia for much of my working life, ride touring ADV motorbikes, UK MCA rated ships engineer serving as second officer of several sailing ships in recent years. I also studied and worked in the UK National Health Service as a Public Health specialist before moving to Hong Kong, China and Asia Pacific. I'm a guy who is Gay/Bi and welcome non-judgmental open minded life sharing people to the project.
  
  Now I'm starting a new life on a small quinta in the village of Casteição, 50 minutes north of Guarda Portugal. It's an enchanting area, close to the boarder with Spain, tucked away from crowded cities, there's a sense of freedom. The quinta's land is fertile with its own natural ground water source, a 3,500 square meter platform ready to develop sustainable agriculture for the kitchen table.
  
  There's farm machinery including a tractor, plough and various tools, a small vineyard with wine making equipment. The house is very clean and comfortable, 4 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchens, great for any visitors who want to join in and explore this region of Portugal. I much enjoy making new friends and hope to develop a real social atmosphere with people who love travelling, sustainable living and genuinely value sharing life.
