Descripción
This Permaculture project is an organic farm that provides hands on experiences in the permaculture methods. We produce coffee, honey, fish, and many other fruits. You will be able to learn about every step of the many processes conducted here on the farm. The temperature and weather are always at a comfortable range here in Suaita. The farm has a great view and quiet surroundings.

Here you will be able to interact closely with the many different fruit trees and medicinal plants we have on site, at their different growing stages, and help us process them. You will learn about beekeeping and Permapicultura. And you will be able to observe the many different tasks that need to be done in order to keep a small organic farm going while having a positive impact in society by spreading permaculture.

Ayuda
You will be working right along our side on all the different tasks that need to be done for that day. The tasks may vary from starting seeds, transplanting and field planting, making compost, pruning trees, harvesting coffee, harvesting honey and pollen, and harvesting fruit. However, if you have a skill with which you can contribute in any other way, its also welcomed.

Alojamiento
We have a geodesic dome on a wooden platform that has a compost toilet and rain water catchment system. This is for 3 person max.
There is also an A cabin with a compost toilet and rain water catchment. For 3 person max.
You can also stay in a tent. We have a couple.
There is a community bathroom and a community kitchen.
The community kitchen is stocked weekly. Special requirements can be accommodated. -

We are located 15 min from the nearest small town, Suaita. You will be able to find any shopping needs there. There are many natural tourist atractions like waterfalls and natural pools near by that you can reach easily by mototaxi.

We worked roughly 4-5 hours per day, in the beautiful mountains surrounding Suaita. Our main tasks were taking care of the fruits and coffee trees, as well as harvesting the coffee. We really enjoyed discovering the full process of harvesting, sorting and drying the coffee.
