Descripción
We are a family with grown-up children who are either at university or working abroad. We live in an old house with a 500 m² garden, two cats, and some tortoises. Our home is located very close to hiking trails and along the Loire à Vélo cycling route. Angers city centre is just 10 minutes away by bus or 20 minutes by bike. We enjoy a countryside lifestyle while still living in the city.
As I am suffering from tendinitis, I cannot participate to our project which is to repaint the shutters and some exterior parts of the house, with the help of my husband and my 22-year-old daughter, as well as doing a little DIY and maintenance work.

We enjoy sharing conversations about cooking, films, books, culture, and walks along the banks of the Loire River.

We are looking for someone to help us with these small projects next summer, to make our home even more beautiful and to share a pleasant time with us.
We are a cheerful family who love travelling. Our home is always open, and we greatly enjoy welcoming friends and people from all over the world.
We would be delighted to host a volunteer in our home from 11 August to 22 August.

We have experience hosting Japanese students for one-month stays and welcomed them for three consecutive years.
Alojamiento
You will have your own room overlooking the garden and swimming pool. As I love cooking, you will have the opportunity to discover a wide variety of homemade dishes and recipes during the family meals we share on the terrace or in the garden.
We will provide 3 meals a day, vegetarian options with loads of fruits and veggies, we would be more than happy to learn new recipes from your country !!!!!
