Descripción
Hi! I have a small farm in the village of Kandal in Nordfjord. Here are several houses on the farm, and a farmstead in the mountains where I am working to restore the old goat barn. Now the plan is for the old barn to be used as a gathering place for hikers in this fantastic mountain landscape. Therefore, I invite craft enthusiasts to participate in the spring and summer on this non-profit / non-commercial project. Bonus for the participants are great mountain hikes in this eldorado in Norwegian nature! While we work on the restoration, we live in the farmhouse which has six beds. Here we also have all meals together. My farm is located in the steep mountain village of Kandal, by Breimsvatnet in Gloppen municipality in Nordfjord. Welcome here!
Hei! Jeg har et småbruk i bygden Kandal i Nordfjord. Her er flere hus på bruket, og en seter hvor jeg arbeider med å restaurere det gamle geitefjøset. Nå er planen at det gamle fjøset skal bli brukt til samlingssted for turgåere i dette fantastiske fjellandskapet. Derfor inviterer jeg håndverksinteresserte til å delta i innspurten på dette non profit/ukommersielle prosjektet. Bonus for deltakerne er flotte fjellturer i dette eldoradoet i norsk natur!
Mens vi arbeider med restaureringen bor vi i seterhuset som har seks soveplasser. Her har vi også alle måltider i fellesskap.
Gården min ligger i den bratte fjellbygda Kandal, ved Breimsvatnet i Gloppen kommune i Nordfjord. Velkommen hit!

This is the offer of help to restore the old goat barn, suitable for craftsmen. The barn is being restored in an old, traditional style. I also have a large garden to be weeded, planting and harvested, and maintenance of small houses in the garden. Fortunately, my dogs may have litters while you stay on the farm!

While on the farm, the
sleeping accomodations are in two summerhouses, alternatively in a farmhouse with three bedrooms and a shared kitchen and living room. Eventually there will also be three beds in the restored goat barn in the mountain. The food we make and eat is mainly based on local ingredients. Certainly also vegetarian dishes for those who prefer that.
Overnatting i seterhus med tre soverom og felles kjøkken og oppholdsrom. Etterhvert blir det også tre soveplasser i det restaurerte geitefjøset! Maten vi lager og spiser er i hovedsak basert på lokale matvarer. Gjerne vegetarisk for den som foretrekker det .

Kandal is a vast settlement between high mountains on one side and along the large lake Breimsvatnet. The town in Gloppen municipality is called Sandane, 17 kilometers from Kandal. In their free time, many people choose to go hiking, try their luck at fishing, or just relax. On my farm down in the village, it is popular to play table tennis, swim in Breimsvatnet, row in the farm's rowing boat, cultivate in the large garden, play with the dogs and puppies ... or borrow the neighbor's kayaks. We have little leisure time problems! For transport from Oslo by bus, you go to Skei in Jølster, and there you transfer to a local bus going to Sandane. You can find the bus schedule on .
Kandal er en vidstrakt bygd mellom høye fjell på den ene siden og langsetter den store innsjøen Breimsvatnet . Tettstedet i Gloppen kommune heter Sandane, 17 kilometer fra Kandal . I fritiden er det mange som velger å gå fjellturer, prøve fiskelykken, eller bare slappe av. På gården min nede i bygda er det populært å spille bordtennis, bade i Breimsvatnet, ro i gårdens robåt, dyrke i den store hagen, leke med hundene og valpene...eller låne naboens kajakker. Fritidsproblemer har vi lite av!
