  Hello fellow Workawayers!
  
  We are Jacqueline (44) and Rebecca (45), a same-sex couple (Mom & Mom), and we live with our three foster children in a small, quiet village in a rural setting. Our family includes a 1.5-year-old boy and two girls, aged 6 and 8.
  
  We also have two friendly dogs: an 11-year-old Labrador mix and a 9-year-old Labrador. Both love families and children and are an integral part of our daily lives.
  
  Our home is located right on the edge of the forest, in a very quiet and natural setting. Shops are about an 8-minute drive away, where you can find everything you need for daily life and more. Frankfurt am Main is about 45 minutes away by car and about 30 minutes by train. There is a bus stop in the village, and the nearest train station is about 15 minutes away. A car can be made available temporarily upon request.

  Wir sind Jacqueline (44) und Rebecca (45), ein gleichgeschlechtliches Paar (Mama & Mami), und leben gemeinsam mit unseren drei Pflegekindern in einem kleinen, ruhigen Dorf in ländlicher Umgebung. Zu unserer Familie gehören ein 1,5 Junge sowie zwei Mädchen im Alter von 6 und 8 Jahren.
  
  Außerdem leben zwei freundliche Hunde mit uns: ein 11-jähriger Labrador-Mischling und ein 9-jähriger Labrador-Rüde. Beide sind familien- und kinderlieb und gehören fest zu unserem Alltag dazu.
  
  Unser Zuhause liegt direkt am Waldrand, sehr ruhig und naturnah. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in etwa 8 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar, dort findet man alles für den täglichen Bedarf und mehr. Frankfurt am Main ist ca. 45 Minuten mit dem Auto und etwa 30 Minuten mit dem Zug entfernt. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich im Ort, der nächste Bahnhof ist ca. 15 Minuten entfernt. Ein Auto kann nach Absprache zeitweise zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
  
  Gerne können wir auch zwei Personen aufnehmen, Freunde oder ein paar beispielsweise...

  Nearby cities: Frankfurt (45 kilometers), Aschaffenburg (50 kilometers), Fulda (60 kilometers). Here you can truly relax, enjoy nature on walks in the woods or in our garden... read, unwind, or perhaps write your bachelor's thesis or something similar. In our town, there's an animal sanctuary run by friends of ours. So, if you like camels, alpacas, llamas, donkeys, and other animal species, you've come to the right place. You're welcome to spend time there and help with the animals' care.

  Bei uns kann man auch ganz in Ruhe sein, bei Waldspaziergängen oder in unserem Garten die Natur genießen...lesen, entspannen oder beispielsweise seine Bachelorarbeit oder ähnliches schreiben. In unserem Wohnort befindet sich ein Tierprojekt, welches durch Freunde von uns geführt wird. Wer also Kamele, Alpakas, Lamas, Esel und andere Tierarten mag, ist bei uns im Ort richtig. Gerne kann auch Zeit dort verbracht werden und bei der Tierversorgung unterstützt werden.

  We are looking for support in our daily lives, particularly with the loving care of our children, such as playing, reading aloud, crafting, accompanying them to activities, and assisting with everyday routines. This also includes light, child-related tasks like preparing simple meals for the children and tidying up after activities. We are looking for a reliable, patient, and responsible person who enjoys working with children. Empathy, openness, clear communication, and mutual respect are important to us. As we live in a rural area, a certain degree of independence and flexibility is helpful. At the same time, it is important to us that you feel comfortable having your own time and space. We value a good balance between shared family life and privacy for everyone – you should feel free to pursue your own interests, and we also value our family time together. Our goal is a relaxed, respectful living environment with clear agreements, where everyone feels comfortable.
  
  
  Wir wünschen uns Unterstützung im Alltag, bei der liebevollen Betreuung unserer Kinder, z. B. beim Spielen, Vorlesen, Basteln, Begleiten zu Aktivitäten sowie bei alltäglichen Routinen. Dazu
  gehören auch leichte, kinderbezogene Aufgaben wie das Zubereiten einfacher Mahlzeiten für die Kinder und das Aufräumen nach gemeinsamen Aktivitäten.
  
  Wir wünschen uns eine zuverlässige, geduldige und verantwortungsbewusste Person mit Freude am Umgang mit Kindern. Wichtig sind uns Einfühlungsvermögen, Offenheit, klare Kommunikation und ein respektvolles Miteinander.
  
  Da wir ländlich wohnen, sind ein gewisses Maß an Selbstständigkeit und Flexibilität hilfreich. Gleichzeitig ist uns wichtig, dass Du Dich auch wohl damit fühlst, eigene Zeit und eigenen Raum zu haben. Wir legen Wert auf ein gutes Gleichgewicht zwischen gemeinsamem Familienleben und Privatsphäre für alle – Du sollst Dich frei fühlen, eigene Interessen zu verfolgen, und wir schätzen ebenso unsere Familienzeit für uns.
  
  Unser Ziel ist ein entspanntes, wertschätzendes Zusammenleben mit klaren Absprachen, in dem sich alle Beteiligten wohlfühlen.

  You will be staying on the ground floor of our house. This floor has a private bedroom with a television, as well as a private bathroom and toilet. The room has direct access to our garden, offering plenty of privacy and a pleasant retreat.
  
  Du wohnst in der unteren Etage unseres Hauses. Diese verfügt über ein eigenes Schlafzimmer mit Fernseher sowie über ein eigenes Bad und eine eigene Toilette. Das Zimmer hat einen direkten Zugang zu unserem Garten und bietet somit viel Privatsphäre und einen angenehmen Rückzugsort.
