Hi my name is Michael I live on a large barge on the Canal du Midi south of France. I live on my boat 8 months of the year cruising the canal. I need someone that I can practice french with. I have lived here the best part of 3 years and still i have not learned any French. The boat is a working boat for part of the year and if a volunteer was on board at the same time then they would be expected to help with light boating stuff like handling ropes tce

I am looking for someone to help will all domestic duties. Teach me conversation French this is the main reason for being on this site. So they would have to be patient understanding person willing to repeat them selves a thousand times lol. If they are one the boat at the same time as it is working then I would ask them to do light boat duties like handling ropes in locks and when mooring up.

If the boat is not working then there is a double room with on-suite that could be used if however the boat is working then there is a small bedroom in rear of the boat that would be used.
Due to the way the boat is run and used i could not say where the boat would be at anyone time. At present it is on the Canal du Midi south of France in Beziers. But this would change during the year.
