  Last minute help needed! We will be traveling next week and we will need someone to come and stay at the house and take care of our dog, Meiga.
  
  Those would be the main tasks but if you wanted to play in the garden a bit you would be more than welcome :)
  
  ¡Hola! We are Santi from Spain, Cari from South Africa and doggy Meiga. We live in the beautiful green hills outside of Porriño in a sweet little house in a big garden with fruit trees. We are close to the town of Porriño where in summer you can see lots of pilgrims passing by on their way to Santiago. Vigo and the beach is 25 minutes by car and the town of Valença in Portugal is only 12 minutes by car. We love to travel and explore - both in Spain and internationally. We love to cook and eat, music - Santi plays guitar - and taking walks with Meiga on the beach or in the forest. We enjoy the simplicity of life in beautiful nature and we love to meet new people from everywhere.
  Coming to Workaway with us would suit someone that can manage and entertain themselves and has a high level of independence. Also, it would suit someone that loves nature - we have forest on our doorstep - and does not need to be in town every day, as it would take a fairly long walk to get to the town of Porriño (3,6kms to get to the center and a grocery store). Unless you have your own car, of course :)
  
  You will have your own room with two single beds. There are two bathrooms with showers. We have a nice big kitchen.

  Enjoy a unique part of Spain. Galicia is heavenly place. There are Hiking ,Biking, Sailing, and swimming within walking distance. We are on the banks of the river next to the Nautical center at Castrelo de Mino. If you enjoy Pottery Blacksmithing, spinning and painting, all of these are practiced by my friend group locally. We are in a rural village setting but with bus and train service daily to Vigo and Ourense. The area has distinct Celtic roots and many festivals and monuments abound in the charming surroundings. There are also numerous hot springs to be enjoyed in the local area. In addition we are on one of the lesser known Camino's to Santiago, The Camino Minota Ribero. I speak fluent english and Spanish and can assist with language exchange.

  We are within 20´ of the international airports of Vigo and 1h from Santiago, 1h from the airport in Porto, and 3 h hours to Madrid by high speed rail.
  Vigo is a port city but even than the port is one of the most important in Spain it is a small city but very cosmopolitan considering.
  12´ from us we have the border Spain Portugal with the charming border towns of Tui in Spain and Valenca Do Minho in Portugal.at both sides of the Miño river ivitatis.com/es/tui/visita-guiada-tui-valenca-minho/
