We are developing this farm in Nanoose Bay, Vancouver Island and need help to make this dream come true. We are building greenhouses and developing the whole farm into a garden and place of pease.
The Farm is also home for trees plant that have been rescued as well as a tree nursery. We save trees from demolition machines and nurse them for clients until the new home is built.
The Yurt Village is under development and will be home to travelers and locals alike to have retreats and just recharge their batteries and do soul work.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

They will learn Permaculture and also experience the beauty of the surrounding BC nature reserve, only a short walk, ride away. There are also trails and close to the ocean. Horse rides as well as the joy of help building a Mongolian Yurt during their stay on the farm.
We have musical evenings by the fire and can experience a large Canadian drum - made on the island.Ayuda
We are looking for eager helpers to assist with the building of our nursery and the setting up of our Permaculture gardens. All levels of skills from builders to garden and horticulturist also welcome.
UPDATE: Since the farm is in its early stages of development, we currently need a lot of help with construction of Yurts and Greenhouses, as well as Rolling Tables for the Trees. Also we are mixing soil and planting the trees for the nursery and planting garlic. In addition to that we need help with general maintenance on the property like looking after the chickens and the garden.Idiomas hablados

We are a short distance from Nanoose Bay ocean where there are awesome beaches, 1.5 km from the Englishmans River Falls and suspension bridge, with Bike Trails and hikes as well as a beautiful pond on the farm where evening sunsets are around the 2 acre pond.
There are 4/5 bikes available to do your own rides and horses on a neighboring farm.
N.B. People note that if you have the flu or fever on your time of arrival. Please rather postpone your trip and get well before you get to the farm. This request is out of respect for the other WorkAway team on site. That way we can avoid every one getting sick. Thank you for understanding.Un poco más de información

The little « workaway village » is nestled between trees and wild flowers. If you like being independant and live in a small community you will love the experience there.
At night we could gather around the fire, play cards.
There is also a beautiful river close to the farm.

Although my English was not very good I found everyone very kind and helpful, I thank Terry and everyone for this first nice workaway experience.
You did not panic in a management position which you were placed into without any preparation. Thank you and I believe you will go far in life.
Thank you so much.

Wishing you the best as you make your way. Thanks for helping me with the spring tasks. Planting my first tree crop is memorable. The short stay is as important as the long stay. Sharing stories and energy is all part of the WorkAway experience that I enjoy.
Best,
Terry Myburgh
It was wonderful to have you guys and your energy and great stories, even though the time was short. We all love trees and your efforts to restore the forests are a blessing to BC. I welcome you here when ever you have time to come and add value...or just visit in a yurt as a guest.
You guys were great. The jobs that have been waiting for two years suddenly were done within a short time. I am so grateful for your energy. Amelie with a sander fixed up some of my mistakes, Jeremy with the tractor also magic.
