Hi,
I am Varsha from Bangalore, I bought a piece of farm land in the outskirts of bangalore you can say countryside about 40 kms from central bangalore, takes 1.5 hours on a good day.
I’ve already grown a few trees and following a permaculture principle of farming.
I’m now moving forward to build a fully sustainable mud house there and I need help from volunteers to build the home because it’ll be a great idea to have people from different countries bringing out their own ideas and I’m open to all the creativity we can put into the making of this house.
I have a design in place and now looking forward to implement & execute it.
This house will mainly be for people to visit, stay & experience a permaculture & a fully eco friendly stay and learn more about how they can also build a mud house in the future & to avoid using any renewable resources around us.
We have wooden cottages which is part of the general public use and that will be the main stay area for the volunteers with food made by our local workers three times a day. The stay is very minimal with light fan and a bathroom. Nothing fancy. There is no hot water but there is a shower for normal water supply.
Main work at the farm is cob building, carpentery, plumbing, & farming activities. If you have any other skills that can enhance the work we are already doing, you are welcome to do so.
There is a quarry just 1 km away from the farm for a mesmerising sunset.
It’s a permaculture farm and there’s going to be a lot of learning and ideas that can be exchanged.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

They will learn how they can bring their ideas into action. An opportunity to build a mud house from scratch.. every part of the house will be made by them and it’ll e a great learning to have them all together and exchange brilliant ideas. A hands on experience with mud and a village atmosphere away from the chaos of the city. Lovely sunsets & you can spot more than 50 species of birds there. Different countries coming together we will only learn and exchange knowledge.
Ayuda
Travellers can throw in their ideas on how we can make cob walls and also add in some artwork on the walls. The main help is going to be cob walls, art work on the walls, using reclaimed wood windows and doors, fixing them.. creative bathroom ideas.. mud floors, mud seating area etc. kitchen slabs, living room seating. A bright creative team to bring any ideas that come along to build the mud house.

There’s a bathroom in each cottage with normal water supply and no hot water. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be made by one of the lady workers who works at the farm for construction. Food is shared with them.
You can also cook if you’d like.. groceries and the village market is about 3kms away from the farm. An induction will be given to you in case you want to cook for yourself.Algo más...
When there’s a time off travellers can travel to the nearby quarry, Thally forest which is about 20-25 kms away.. there are govt buses that go to the closest city.
