Descripción
Hi! We are a family of four (Eva, Oscar, our son Dan (19), and our daughter Noa (21), who is currently doing Workaway herself) living with our two poodle (Preston and Byron) in a house about 15 minutes from the center of Fribourg, in the outskirts of Marly, Switzerland.
We are currently looking for someone to help us with our garden. The main tasks involve bringing it back into shape—mowing the lawn, trimming trees and bushes, and general upkeep.
We will show you what needs to be done, but you’ll have a lot of freedom in how you choose to carry out the tasks. We also warmly welcome new ideas and creativity when it comes to shaping and designing the garden. Your working hours will be quite flexible and can be adapted to what best suits your plans.
You will have your own room (we have one room available, which can also be shared if you are a couple or two friends), with a shared bathroom.
Oscar is a Chef- , and we would also be happy if you share your cooking from home.
In your free time, you can borrow a bicycle or take the bus to explore the area. There are several beautiful lakes at a short ride (we have a SUP you can use), as well as great hiking spots not far from our home. You can also visit nearby cities by train: Bern (about 25 min from Fribourg), Lausanne (about 50 min from Fribourg), and Murten (about 30 min from Fribourg).

Our daughter Nos is having the time of her live doing workaway in Asia. She encountered outstanding hosts and amazing workawayers. we are very much looking forward to offer the same opportunity to others. We'll be thrilled to welcome you home!

Alojamiento
Independent spacious room, maisonette type, with independent entrance and direct acces to the garden (the door on the right side of the picture). Shared bathroom.
We provide three meals a day, but you are also welcome to cook for yourself anytime. If you enjoy cooking, you’re welcome to help in the kitchen, learn some traditional dishes with us
